A Month Later~
"Oh sweetie, I'm so glad you've decided to study abroad in Denmark!" Said my mother from India. She called me to "congratulate" me on my accomplishment. Apparently, the family had called to say how I would be safe with them while I stayed there to study. Freakin Nordics, too smart for my own good.
"Yeah, I'm so excited." I said. The only reason I was going quietly was because Denmark had promised me visits back home often and the fact that they were countries. I wasn't going to mess with people as powerful as them. I knew when to give up, when I was outranked. "What are you studying exactly?" She asked me sweetly. "The architecture and engineering here." I replied.
I figured since I had the chance I would actually pursue the career. Architecture was something I was actually Interested in. "That's so great sweetie! I hope you enjoy it there!" And with that she hung up.
I sighed and stared at my luggage prepared to leave. Luke and Aria were sad that I was leaving but happy for me as this was a rare chance for me to succeed. Not even they knew.
I spent most of my month learning some Danish. At least I knew some common phrases that would help me get by.
My doorbell rang signaling my upcoming doom- I mean Norway taking me to the airport with all 5 Nordics. I opened the door to an indifferent Norway. "Are you ready to go?" He asked me. I just nodded and got into the car. It seemed to be a rental car; It had that new-car-smell. We spent most of the way silent, with the radio as background noise.
When we were about 5 minutes away from the airport he said, "Look I know this is hard, but you should really try to lighten up a little. It won't do any good to be so morose." I guess he had a point there. "Alright, I guess I could try..." I replied. he smiled a warm, genuine smile at me. It made my stomach flutter a little.
"Oh, and another thing," He added, "You should call us by our human names in public." "Oh, okay. I guess I hadn't really thought of that." I said scratching the back of my neck.

On the plane I sat next to Mathias on my right andEmil next to him. see, I don't really fly well, so I don't make the best seat buddy. "Victoria, are you okay?" Mathias asked me. "Your face is really red, and your pupils are really dilated." Oh, this isn't good. "Uh, I'm just going to go to the bathroom real quick."I got up to go, thanking the sweet baby Jesus that i was in the outside seat. I don't exactly enjoy putting my ass into people's faces.
I locked the door behind me and looked into the mirror. My face was red and my eyeliner had smeared a little. My hair looked disarrayed so I put it up in a ponytail. I took off the sweatpants I was wearing over my shorts and rolled it into a little ball. I walked out and sat back down.
"Not a great flyer eh?" Emil asked me over a sleeping Mathias. "Yeah definitely not." I replied. "You?" He just sighed and said, "Well I'm kinda used to it, flying for conferences and stuff like that." The rest of the plane ride was just me and Emil talking; Mathias woke up and joined us later.
Now we were at baggage claim waiting for our bags. I could see our bags as we were walking towards it. "Come on I see them!" I exclaimed as I grabbed Emil's hand and pulled him forward. "Hey! Wait a minute!" He proclaimed. I could hear Tino's silvery voice calling after us. I spotted my red suitcase and grabbed it.
"Excited?" Berwald asked me as we followed Den and Nor towards the car. "Yeah. The buildings here are beautiful! I'm actually glad to have this opportunity!" I said with a smile. "Mm, that's good." He said with his low, gruff voice.

I fell asleep in the car since I didn't get to sleep on the plane. When I woke we were stopped at this huge 2 story house on a street called brobersgade. Den said it was really close to the Danish Centre Of Architecture, where I would be studying.
"Hey Ice, can you show Victoria her room?" Lukas said. Emil mumbled a yeah as he went up the stairs. I followed him up the stairs and through a hallway. He opend the door to a Dark red room with a canopy bed in the middle. There was a matching cherry wood vanity and dresser on the far wall.
I stood there completely dumbfounded. It was amazing! "If you don't like it we can rearrange it later." Ice said. "oh my gosh no way! It's so cool!" I replied in awe. Emil's cheeks went pink and mumbled a little after leaving.
Later Mathias came in to see what I wanted for dinner. I just replied with the general "Whatever works."
"You know, Ice picked out all of the furniture and the color. Said he wanted to do it himself." Oh, heh that's why he was blushing. How adorable! "Well he certaintly has great taste." I said with a smile. Mathias smiled back at me and said "I hope you like tacos!" and ran down stairs.
I think I might actually like it here. Denmark is such a beautiful place. And the Architecture is absolutely amazing! This could be great.
