Wheein returned to the table with the phone clutched in her hands. "I apologise, Mr Kim."
She mumbled taking her seat. "I had an urgent call to make."

"You were gone for a while, I was worried something might have happened." Vante uttered watching her sit down and waited for her to get comfortable in her seat again, although given she was in front of her favourite photographer, it was kind of impossible. "So about that secretary contract-"

"Frankly speaking.." Wheein cut him off before he could even have the chance to finish his sentence. Her hands clasped together fidgeting in nervousness. "You don't even know my name. How are you so sure you can trust me Mr.Kim?"

He was taken aback at her statement which was, as a matter of fact, absolutely true. And for a short second, a rather awkward silence greeted the two. He chuckled, processing in the situation, thinking how ridiculous it was, yet he found it amusing.

"Well then... what is your name?" He asked.

"Wheein... Jung Wheein."

The sip he was taking from his drink almost made it back out again. His attention was solely on her, a little surprised at hearing the name.

Jung Wheein. It was a pretty name and one he was so sure he had heard of before. However, only one thing interfered in remembering why it was so familiar, his terrible memory. As the saying goes, he had a memory of a goldfish.

He shook off that thought knowing it was probably for the best that they were strangers at this moment and Vante wasn't particularly interested in knowing about her personal life. "It's nice to meet you Jung Wheein. Look forward to working with you."

Wheein looked at him in disbelief, her lips parted, trying to apprehend this slightly worrisome reply. That was not the answer she had expected. In fact, he was supposed to agree with her, saying how absurd this whole encounter was like they always did in dramas, leaving in a huff and that hopefully she wouldn't have to work as his secretary to pay off this "debt". As guilty as she felt, being his secretary was really the last thing she wanted to do.

"I'll send you the details over text." He said taking his phone out of his jacket pocket.

Wheein froze in her seat, gulping down the drink to its last drop taking in the ice to chew on it as a stress reliever. She didn't like the fact that this practically confirmed Vante Kim was actually being serious about the position he was offering. She didn't like it one bit! Wheein was slightly dreading it - to say the least.

"Look over the contract that'll be sent too. So it's easier when you come in on Monday." He informed her, confirming things quickly before he had to move on for his next schedule. "I can contact you on this number right?"

"Y-yes..." Wheein stuttered. She closed her eyes, having realised what had just happened. This was the opposite of what she wanted and the shipping from her own best friend, Ahn Hyejin, was all the more inevitable.

"Let me know if there's anything you want to add to the contract and we'll look over it for you." He added, swinging his jacket on ready to head out. He took a glance at his wrist watch checking the time before he looked back at Wheein again. He smiled. "I'll be off then. I have to move onto my next schedule."

Wheein too stood up, bowing gently to show respect as she muttered just loud enough for him to hear before he left. "Yes... safe travels Mr.Kim."
