"You are completely out of your mind if you actually think I'm going to let you walk back home alone."
Shooting Namjoon a glare, Hana huffed out childishly with a pout although she knew that he was right. Their lectures ended slightly later today, and it was already in the evening when they were finally released from the torture.
Ever since yesterday's horrifying news of the murderer on the loose, Namjoon had been acting extra protective over Hana, insisting her not to be alone at all times for the sake of her safety. He could only trust himself to protect her from any dangers.
"It's just a ten minutes walk from here!" Hana tried to argue, but the tall boy was still adamant with his decision to accompany her home.
"So? A lot can happen in just ten minutes." Namjoon shrugged, and pushed her to walk in front of him faster as they were still in the midst of leaving the huge campus.
"But Joon, you have a family dinner to attend and I can't let you be late for that. It's been a while since your last dinner with your whole family." Hana countered, attacking him with his weakness.
Namjoon's family consisted of a family of four. His parents who were constantly busy working in the hospital, a younger sister who was studying in Japan, and him.
It was a rare opportunity for Namjoon to be able to have a complete family dinner, and today happened to be just the lucky day because his sister was home for a semester break, and his parents had actually attempted to make time for their children for once. The dinner would be held in a slightly fancy Mexican restaurant in the other side of the city, so it would require time to reach there.
Conflicted at her reasoning, Namjoon's face scrunched up as if he was just forced to eat lemon or his ocean friends. He stood next to his bicycle, hands on its handle, eyes staring at Hana who was giving him puppy eyes to convince him.
Sighing, Namjoon spoke again. "But—"
"Hey guys."
Whirling their heads towards the voice, Hana swallowed thickly at how her heart had shamelessly skipped a beat when her eyes landed on Professor Jung smiling warmly at the two. He had unbuttoned the first two buttons of his white dress shirt, with sleeves folded up till his elbows.
Damn. Why does he have to be so attractive?
Hana didn't know why she felt slightly guilty at the thought of Seokho sharing a same appearance as Professor Jung. But, in her defense, she started drawing her characters way long before meeting him, so she wasn't really using him as a reference.
