It's so different than other anime which I have watched. It's nice paced. It's amazing how they just showed real life problems in a metaphorical way. Story revolves around ramune who is mysterious disease specialist. Mysterious diseases are physical manifestions of a trouble heart or stress which is built up for a long time and has no way out. It always has bizzare manifestations like chilli nails etc. Dr RAMUNE is unlike typical doctor usually seems rude and knowledgeable at first but he surely does care for his patients and ultimately cures them.
