#1 -- Niall

To: Annie

Here you go Annie! I hope you think it's good! I'm not too proud of it... I feel like it's a bit rushed but just know it's made with love! Hugs for me to you! :)

"Have you heard the news?" A girl whispered to another whilst I stocked the shelves a couple rows away.

It was just another average Sunday in this music store I worked in on the weekends, nothing too special. One Direction's new 'Take Me Home' album had just been emptied -again- from the shelves so I was forced to restock it for about the third time today.

"No," the another mumbled back. "What news?"

News? What news? Curiosity crept over me as I snuck closer to the two girls to eavesdrop.

"The boys are coming! HERE! Can you believe that?!" The first girl squeaked, trying hard to keep her excited chirps down.

My eyes widened when I heard the word "boys". There's only one group of boys that gets a reaction from a teenage girl like that; One Direction! I couldn't hold back a humongous grin spreading across my face at the mere thought of them. Ever since they joined together on X Factor I've had a huge crush on them, especially a certain Irish boy. I heaved a thoughtful sigh, leaning against a shelf of country music as I imagined myself in the front row of their concert, touching their hands, looking up into their eyes, meeting-

No! No, Annie! Stop thinking like that you silly girl! Those girls just said they would be here in New York, possibly the same city as me, and maybe, just maybe, they'll be close enough that I can go to their concert! If they have a concert that is...

By the time I finally snapped back to reality the two Directioners were screaming their heads off, clinging to each other as they jumped up and down like bunnies.

"Hey," I said loud enough for them to hear me. Both their heads snapped over to where I was standing, both completely still. "Could you please do that somewhere else? There's other people here."

"Sorry, sure!" The second girl apologizes right away, her cheeks quickly turning pink whilst she grabbed her friend and ran out of the store. I watched them run out of the store with a smirk on my lips. Maybe they'll get to meet them. I hope they dot fangirl in front of them; everyone knows they hate it when we do that.

I shake my head slowly, clearing my head and going to back to restocking the shelves of CDs, posters, albums and other merchandise.

"I'm heading out on my break, Annie! Hold down the fort while I'm out, 'kay?" My co-worker, Quinn, shouts behind her shoulder as she walks outside the store and towards the food court. I shout an "okay" back to her, looking around for any customers I could help buy something, but there's no one here. It's empty.

That's weird. Usually a lot more people come on Sundays to buy some music before the school days. Maybe One Direction really is having a concert here! As if on cue by my thoughts, I hear a huge crowd of girls screaming and yelling things from outside the store. It gets louder and louder and I'm starting to fear for my life. What if they come in here demanding something? Or worse! What if they demand Take Me Home and it's completely sold out?! In a state of panic, I frantically run towards the main light switch and flick it off, only waiting a few seconds before the store goes dark aside from the light from other stores outside.

The screams keep getting louder and louder until I'm positive they're right outside the store, just standing there squealing their heads off. I'm hiding behind the cash register at the front desk, keeping an eye on the entrance when I hear something fall over across the room and someone curse under their breath.
