CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Niki had to stopped reading the book that Sunoo's grandmother gave him, because he had to leave or else, his mom will scold him again. He doesn't want to make his Noona worry about him anyway.
He's inside Mr. Kim's car with Daniel. Sunoo is stable now and the doctor let him to go to school for tomorrow, that's a relief. No one wants to break the silence not until Daniel spoke. "Hyung are you okay?" The boy asked. He smiled sweetly not wanting to make the boy to be sad.
"Yup" he said. "This book is good too..." he added.
"You might think that you are related to us but you're actually have nothing to do with our blood ya know?"
Daniel is right, he had been thinking about it. If the Kim's ancestor is related to his looked alike, does it mean that he's related to Sunoo? The answer is no. Niki is not a Kim. He's just the reincarnation of the Kim's ancestors, they just looked like each other but they are not blood-related.
He smiled and looked outside. Reading someone's diary is actually fun but this one is different, it's not only about the love story between Satō Hikaru and Kim Jin Ae. It talks about the corruption and betrayal of so many clans before, which still exists until now.
A thought suddenly popped inside his mind, "Daniel" he called out the boy who looked at him in an instant.
"What?"
"Earlier, Ryousuke called me Satō Hikaru" he noticed that the card slowed down, and he knows that Sunoo's uncle is silently listening to their conversation.
The young boy's eyes widened in shock, "H-he did?"
"Yes, does it mean anything?" He asked.
"You have nothing to worry about Niki." This time, it was Sunoo's uncle who answered him. "What should I do?" He asked again. There's a lot of questions that are running inside his head because of the book. The memories. And it's making him insane.
"Just protect Sunoo, that's all"
"But what if--you really know nothing?"
The man shooked his head, "Nothing. Mother said, only you, or Sunoo-can figure it out. Only the both of you can do something to stop the curse" he explained.
"What curse? And in what way?"
"The destiny's curse. In what way? I'm not sure. You can't kill someone, that's illegal" he said. The young man's whole body stiffened and grew cold because of what Sunoo's uncle said.
