Xavier sat on his thron and looked down at his court.
" My lord, the King of Wenis is dying from the Pandora disease. This is our chance to capture what should have always been ours" , Prime minister Felix demanded . " We can take over Wind angels as our slaves." Echoes of agreement ran through the court.
"Silence " Xavier groaned, clutching his midriff. It will never be enough for them. All they want is more more blood in their hands to fulfill their greed. Xavier for a just a day didn't want to think about more murder.
Frustrated he got up from his throne and dismissed the court . He wanted to relax.
He went into his camber and striped his robe . The maids had already prepared his bath . He got in and closed his eyes , when suddenly a crashing sound got his attention. A maid has dropped a metal tray holding his robes.
" Apologies my lord . It is a new girl." Zaina ,the old chief maid said .
Xavier attention was drawn to the girl , who was now picking up the clothes. Her hair was covered in the head wrap and she was wearing the long robe every maid in the castle wore. After collecting the clothes she stood up and she eyes met Xavier. Deep blue stared at him. The girl was enchanting. Pale skin and Rosey lips . Want washed over him. She stood frozen and stared at him.
Xavier took a good look at the rest of the girl. She was taller than any of the other maids . She held herself with pride that no maid would dare of. When he looked closer , you can see she was glowing.
This is no human. This is an angel . Xavier felt pleasure and amusement for the first time in a long while.
