The Promised Neverland OC insert fanfic

Prologue

A brown haired girl ran through the forest, looking for somebody.

"Fraiser! Fraiser! Where are you?!" Her forehead had beads of sweat on it.

"Charlotte, no need to be so worried." A boy with cream-colored hair walked from the direction of the low fence a little ways away from her.

"Fraiser! Oh, thank god you're okay!" The girl hugged him.

"Gh- I was just looking around, you don't need to be so dramatic."

"I thought you diiiiiiiied! Tell me before you go off like that!" The girl was in tears now, hugging him as if he was a teddy bear and she was having a rough night.

"Charlotte- I can't- Breathe-"

Charlotte released a panting Fraiser.

"Thank you."

"Don't go off without me! You could've died!"

"Charlotte, this is a perfectly safe environment."

"You could've still died!" Charlotte's eyes were still full of tears.

Fraiser gently put his hand on her cheek. 

"I'm okay, aren't I? Stop crying, you'll get dehydrated." He smiled.

Charlotte just stared at him for a few seconds before smiling and wiping her tears with the back of her hand. 

"Okay!"

Fraiser chuckled and let his hand drop back to his side, smiling. 

A bell ringed out and Charlotte and Fraiser both looked up.

"That's our que. Let's head back to the house, okay?"

Charlotte nodded and started running back to the house, Fraiser trailing behind her.
