I am on a ship with my school for a field trip. It was crowded with all the people here. It was for an Ocean study and only few from our school could come. I sit in the corner with a black sweater and sweat pants. We've already been here for basically the whole day.

I get up to go to the bathroom. But while doing so I bump into someone. "I'm sorry." I bow and look up. "It's fine." The boy smiles and goes back to talking with his friends. Ren Shuyang. One of the most popular boys in school. Surprisingly he wasn't an asshole but the people he surrounds himself with are the total opposite. Ren and I have came across each other a few times from school. All that boy does is nothing but smile and laugh.

I was again on my phone when I heard a scream.
"EVERYONE GET IN A RAFT!" I look up confused from being so focused on my phone. I look outside the window I was by and there are big death waves.
Everyone was panicking and I immediately get up.

Pushing through everyone, someone shoves me and I fall on the ground while people walk on me. I was about to give up, hurt and bruised when I see a hand hold out for me. "Hurry!" I take the hand to see Shuyang. While running to go get a raft I realize that most of these people won't make it as for myself.

I drop my phone and was about to go back for it just in case we need it. But Shuyang was still holding onto my hand. Me and Shuyang were able to get a raft. The raft was orange and was like a little hut and was pretty tiny. "Here I'm coming with you!" A teacher says. Me and him were already in the raft and the teacher was about to get in when another wave came pushing us further away from the boat. The teacher fell in the water and I put my hand over my mouth going to cry. Shuyang held me and from trying to save the them.

We are getting further and further away from the ship. I can see good enough to know they ran out of rafts. I get out of his embrace and try to see if there are anyone else near us. "Fuck." I say. "Do you have your phone?" He asks, by my face expressions he already knew the answer. "Where the hell are we anyways?" He says. "We started in Bohai so probably Yellow Sea." I reply. "If that's so then..." He says. "We're by the East China Sea!!" I finish.

East China Sea has at least 100 different species of sharks and dangerous. "I'm just glad the waves stopped though." He says. "You're glad?! You're glad we are stuck in the middle of the ocean stranded?!" I yell and Shuyang a little shocked shuts up. I sigh and massage my temples. "I'm sorry. It's just that we don't know if the others are even alive. It isn't an excuse though." I say and he nods. "Yeah I get it."

"How long do you think it's been?" I ask. "Probably a couple hours." Shuyang replies. "Have you eaten?"
I ask and he nods his head no. "Me neither." I say.
"I don't have an appetite." He says. "Same." I look at the water and notice we aren't even moving. "Well if we're gonna die... I'd like to at least try to get to know you." I say looking at him. "Umm what'd you like to know?" I think. "Let's start with the basics."

*Time skip*

Me and Shuyang surprisingly have a lot in common.
We got to know a lot about each other. "If we do make it out of here we should be friends." I say.
"Are you saying we can't now?" He says sarcastically.
"Of course not." I say and smile. I yawn and shiver, Shuyang noticed. He scoots a little closer and pats a spot right next to him. I get up and go over to him in the middle for we don't flip over. We cuddle for warmth and fall asleep in each other's arm.

The waves start coming back and they are huge. The raft flips over and me and Shuyang fly out. "Y/N" Shuyang yells and reaches his hand out. I was trying to get to him but the water pushes further away.
"SHUYANG!" I cry. A wave was coming again and suddenly I see Shuyang pulled into the water. I go under trying to find him but it was to dark. But then I see a white figure big and flat. It is now going under me and I was running out of air. Suddenly it looks up and it's a shark! I notice I have a cut on my leg and the shark does too.

I wake up breathing heavily and sweaty. "Hey.. hey!"
I heard Shuyang say. I feel his arms wrap around me and pulls my head into his chest. "It's okay." He assures me and strokes my chest. I hug back crying holding onto him tighter. "It was just a dream." He says and I try to stop crying. I finally stop and collect myself together again. "What'd you dream about? Actually we don't have to talk about it." I nod.

"I'm starving now." I say. "Me as well." He says holding his stomach. "If only we can navigate this." I say looking around the raft. "It's useless. We're probably gonna die here from starvation or dehydration. If not that then probably a disease." He says. "Hey! You're usually the hopeful one." I say.
"I don't see anything there's to be hopeful for." He says. "No." He gets up. "What do you mean, no?"
He asks. "I mean no. No you don't get to be hopeless because that's my thing. The main reason everyone loves you is because of your ability to have hope when there's none left." I say. "Thanks." He smiles.
"There we go!"

"Waves are coming again." Shuyang says panicking.
"Shit." I say closing the door thing. Suddenly we move and I slide over to Shuyang. Then we both slide to the other side. "Fuck." Again we get pushed over side to side. I felt water and jump up. "A hole!" I yell and me and Shuyang look for it. Since the raft was so small we find it fast. "It's getting bigger!" Shuyang suddenly took off his shirt and tried using that to stop the water. "It's not gonna work!" I yell and open the door. "What are you doing?!" Shuyang yells because of the loud waves and there was thunder.

"If we don't leave we're gonna drown!" I yell. "We're gonna drown either way!" He yells back. "I'd rather die fighting." I say getting ready to go out. "Y/n!" Shuyang yells and I stop and turn around. "What?" Suddenly he comes up and gives me a kiss. It was soft and sweet just like him. I gave him a smile before jumping out.

Should I make a part two?
