Jealous

I am at my house with my boyfriend and best friend. "Hey Y/n, did you hear that Mingrui's back in town?" My best friend asks. "Yeah he tried texting me." I reply. "Who's this 'Mingrui'?" My boyfriend sneers. "Oh wait... you don't know?" My friend says. "Know what?!" Shuyang panics. "Calm down we were just a um couple." I say rubbing the back of my neck. His tongue poked through his cheek and he crossed his arms. I scoot closer to him and try cuddling but he shrugged it off. "Don't tell me you're jealous." I laugh

"Was he better looking than me?" He mumbles."What was that?" I ask. "Was he better looking than me?" He says louder. "Hey you are the only one I love." I say and kiss his cheek. "I'm gonna go now." My friend says with a disgusted face. "Okay see you tomorrow haha." I say and she gets her stuff. "I LOVE BEING SINGLE!" She yells at the door. "Anyways... So I wanted to ask you if you wanted him to come to dinner tonight. My family and him were close so they'd like to make a dinner. If you are uncomfortable with that it won't happen." I say. "It's not my decision so it's fine. But only if I come with you." I smile. "I love you." I give him one last kiss.

I was getting ready for the dinner because my mom says I have to look presentable. "Why did you even like him." Shuyang says moping on my bed. "You gotta stop with this jealous thing babe. It's cute though." I chuckle. "I just always thought I was your first boyfriend." He sighs. "No need to be insecure. I love you and only you." I say. I hear the doorbell ring and my mom opening the door. "Okay now let's go."

We sat at the dinner table and it was awkward. I was sitting in between Shuyang and Mingrui. "So how was Japan, Mingrui?" My sister asks. "It was nice! But I was homesick." He says and scoots closer to me. "Um. Uh Mingrui I haven't introduced you to Shuyang." I say trying to make it less awkward. "I'm Gou Mingrui. Y/n's ex boyfriend." He whispered that last part. "I'm Ren Shuyang. Y/n current boyfriend." Mingrui scoots further away realizing the situation. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize." He says. "So why did you move to Japan?" Shuyang asks. "Taking pictures of the beautiful views." Mingrui replies. "No way, you're a photographer?" Mingrui nods. "I'm a videographer!" They both do this 'bro shake'.

"Ugh can we go to bed nowww." I whine because Shuyang and Mingrui are playing video games. After their 'moment' they bonded more over stuff. "You go without me I'll be there in a second." I groan and go to my room. I was about to fall asleep but they keep screaming because they lost. I just go on my phone for the time being.

I hear someone quietly walk in and lay next to me. "Hey." I say in a sleepy voice. "Hey... why aren't you asleep yet?" He asks. "I can't sleep without you." I say. "You know that's a lie." He laughs. "So what's the real problem, hmm?" I yawn. "Spending more time Mingrui than me." I say and roll my eyes. "Don't tell me you're jealous." He teases. "I'm not!" He cuddles with me. "Mhm goodnight."
