"We're playing never have I ever," Dhara announced as she joined the rest of them to sit on the floor in a circle around the small table. Holding up a bottle of vodka, and six glasses, she grinned.
"None for me," Rudra said shaking his head when Dhara began pouring out the drink. "I'll just drink beer."
"Why?" Dhara asked, appalled by Rudra's decision.
"Well... We can't all be hungover tomorrow. Someone needs to be sober." Rudra replied, opening the bottle of beer.
Dhara opened her mouth protest, but Rudra had already anticipated it, so he said, "It's okay. I am fine!"
"Are you sure?" Soumya asked as her brows furrowed together. "We can-"
Rudra smiled and shook his head once again. "I am sure. I wouldn't have offered otherwise."
Dhara clapped and saluted Rudra. "Thank you, Dr. Rudra, for such a generous offer," she teased to which Rudra replied by lifting the bottle in his hand. "So, just to remind everyone of the rules... one person of the group will make a statement that starts with Never have I ever and then everyone who has done the said activity will take a shot. Clear?"
"Soumya, why don't you start?" Akash suggested, flashing his dimples.
Soumya sat up a little and smiled hesitantly as she looked around the group. Clearing her throat, she brought up the drink to her mouth. "Never have I ever... lied about my age."
The group laughed. Rudra took a swig of his beer while the rest of them threw back their first sip of Vodka.
"Rudra bhaiya," Dhara pointed at Rudra who was sitting beside Soumya. "Your turn."
"Never have I ever snuck out of a window," Rudra said after a lot of thought and everyone, except Reena, immediately took a shot of their drinks.
Rudra raised his eyebrows and chuckled at Soumya who just shrugged sheepishly. "My sister is Dhara, so it shouldn't really be a surprise."
"You guys are so wild!" Reena said almost in awe.
"Don't worry I'll help you sneak out of a window and then you too can take a drink anytime this question comes up." Manoj offered with a snicker and Reena blushed.
"Ohh..." Soumy and Dhara sang which made Manoj blush as well.
"I'll go next!" Dhara spoke raising her hand. "Also, you both asked such stupid questions... You need them to be more juicer and scandalous."
"I thought the main goal of this game was to make simple statements so more people get drunk." Akash teased.
Dhara contemplated her reply before shaking her head. "I like knowing people's secrets and also showing off my cool life," she smirked and rubbed her hands together. "Never have I ever.... gotten arrested," she said raising her drink. Confident that she would be the only one in the group who would qualify for this round. But, to her surprise, both Akash and Rudra exchanged a look before taking a sip of their drinks.
