Chapter 8

A/N: Heyyyooo!! Sorry for temporarily dying again. Btw... I would like to thank you guys for OVER 100 READS!! Omg wtfff my heart is meltinggg!! I never thought I would get this far tbh... so eeeee tyyyysssmmm!! Before we get onto this chapter, just wanna tell you guys a little bit about outs going on. First, I will be doing texting scenes in this book... bc a lot of people seem to like them. I'll try my best to be funny lmao. Second, I have a dance competition this weekend!! I'm leaving Saturday eeaarrllyy in the morning, and I'm leaving Sunday early in the morning too, so I def won't be writing on those days. That's pretty much it lol. Enjoy chapter 8!!

Your POV:

"SAVSGHgvgsg!" was the only noises I heard coming from Bokuto. Akaashi seemed pretty unfazed though. "ahaaa!! Scared ya!!" I teased. "Did not!!" Bokuto whined. Akaashi just did a motherly face palm, which I fawned over for a couple seconds. "Anyways... after your horrible attempt to scare me," Bokuto started while I deadpanned, "What are you doing in the library?" "I could ask you the same thing," I responded. "I'm here because my math teacher had a poster board on her door saying we needed to go to the learning commons," "We're here because of the same reason, but our English teacher was the one who wrote the note," Akaashi clarified. I hummed. "I wonder why.."

Bokuto's POV:

After a few minutes of waiting, the librarian came into the library, doing that cool whistling thing with her fingers to quiet everybody. "Alright students!! We have brought you in here to tell you about a school project!! Every school in our region will be participating!!" The librarian yelled over the many whispers still lingering in the room. "You will be paired up with 1 1st year, 1 2nd year, and 1 3rd year, and you will all go to different schools to observe them. Some people will be staying here to answer questions from other schools, but many others are going to be temporarily going to different schools. There are papers up here with instructions on what you need to do, and who you are paired with. 3rd years come on up and grab your papers!!" The librarian instructed. I gave Y/N and Akaashi a smile before heading up to find my name on one of the papers. Not Bokuto.. not Bokuto.. no- Oh waittt!! That's my name!! I grabbed the paper to see who my partners were. It couldn't have been a coincidence that me, Y/N, and Akaashi were all partnered up... but then again... I guess the teachers have noticed we are around each other a lot and we get along quite well. I went back to where me Akaashi and Y/N were sitting and started reading some of the instructions while I waited for the other two to collect their papers. "Yaayyyyy!!" I heard a familiar voice beam. "We're all partnered up!!" Y/N exclaimed. "I KNOW!!" I said, returning her enthusiasm. "And look! Remember when we met.. Kyo.... and Kageyama was it?" she asked. "Yeah..." "Well... we get to go observe their school!" she said. My jaw dropped. "WAIT REALLY!!! Hopefully they get to stay and answer questions!!" I told her. " Me too!" she responded while cutting her eyes slightly to look at Akaashi... who had the same unfazed expression that he always wears. She let out a small laugh. "You should smile moreee!" she whined... giving him puppy eyes. Her puppy eyes can convince really well.. because after she said that.. Akaashi gave her the warmest smile I have EVER seen him give someone. "Better?" Akaashi chuckled. "Very much so, yes," Y/N responded.

Your POV:

Before Akaashi and Bokuto headed home, I asked them if they wanted to go to the crosswalk where me and Bokuto met Kyo and Kageyama the other day. They nodded their heads and grabbed their gym bags. We eventually found the crosswalk, and lucky for us, Kyo and Kageyama were standing there. "Hey!" I yelled. Kyo whipped her head around. "Oh hey!! What's up! Y/N? was it?" She asked me. "Yeah! Just wanted to come and check on your guys' roles for the school project thing," I explained. "Sure! I'll tell you what I know," she said. "Im guessing these are your partners?" she asked. "Mhm!! You've met Bokuto before, but this is my other really good friend, Akaashi!" I explained. "Nice to meet you," Kyo said while taking a slight bow. "Likewise," Akaashi responded. "So, are you guys going to a different school, or staying at Karasuno to answer questions?" I pondered. she clicked her tongue. "My group, which consist of Kageyama, and Nishinoya, will be staying at Karasuno. How about you guys?" she exclaimed. "Nice!! We're going to a different school," Bokuto said. "Really?? Which one?" Kyo asked. "Karasuno!!" Me and Bokuto said in unison. Kyo's eyes widened. "Awesome!! I guess we can pair our groups together then!!" She beamed. "I guess so!" I said. "Oh by the way, is it okay if I have your number?" Kyo asked me. "Of course! Want Bokuto and Akaashi's too?" I asked. "If they're okay with it," She told me. They both gave her a smile and a nod. Which she returned. I gave her a slip of paper with our numbers and names on them, and we went our separate ways after talking for a little while longer. "Nice seeing you guys again, and nice meeting you Akaashi!" Kyo said while pressing the button on the crosswalk pole. We all waved at Kyo and Kageyama and continued on our way home.
