"CHARGE!" the voice shouted. The children around him flexed their claws. The large beasts swirled and hissed around her head. All the children were laughing. Those others, they didn't stand a chance. They all had one thought in their minds.
KILL.
----------------------------------------------
The tall figure stepped out. His old mask had been given to his second in command. The small adult chased after him with papers in her arms. They both wore flowing clothes, designed to move swiftly when fighting.
"Your Majesty!" his second in command squeaked. "She has already called the Children of the Storm to attack!"
He stared down at her, then stared down at the battlefield. His grasp tightened on his sword. He knew in his heart that he shouldn't be fighting with his friends. But this was where their paths led them.
"Tell them to attack."
----------------------------------------------
He was appalled. His sister never told him war was like this. He saw Old Eden's children running into the field. Now called the Children of the Storm, they were the most powerful, besides the Children of the Stars.
But the Children of the Stars were missing, and had been for over 2,000 years.
That's when She took control of Old Eden.
He shivered, the thought of it shaking him to his core. He looked back down at the field, then out at his own children, the Children of the Wastes. He couldn't send them out, but he didn't want to seem weak.
So he said the command.
----------------------------------------------
She rested her head on her hands. She never got bored of the Children of the Speed, even when they were fighting for their lives. She looked back at the five spirits behind her that refused to leave their old home. They were more concerned than she thought was necessary. She had found a way to create more children, so every two that fell, six more were able to replace them.
Didn't they remember how bad it was when she started leading this kingdom?
She looked down at the battlefield. Lots of children were mostly fighting Storm children. Which was good. Besides the fact they kept mistaking Wastes children for Storm children. Which wasn't good. Despite the argument they had at the last meeting, she didn't particularly want the leader of the Wastes to die.
"Ma'am? We need you to verify this order, so the creations can be doubled."
She sighed and walked over, dropping a single diamond onto the field.
----------------------------------------------
The children held their hands. They looked at the field, and gulped. Their blind leader stepped out, trying to reach Her. They watched. They cried. But, it worked. The attacks from Storm faltered. She ran out. Soon..
----------------------------------------------
She pitied the children. But it was her dear rival that turned this into a war.
----------------------------------------------
They were not in the war, he could not bear it.
----------------------------------------------
Up in the heavens, he laughed. His bright white coloring made him stand out.
"These fools, they don't know who the real villain is.
"You were a fool for sealing me away, Melioberry."
