Ava panted heavily as she ran from Dr Montgomery's evil minions. Even though it was an eerie dark, she could still see by using her night vision goggles.
Shit! A dead end!
Ava whirled around, frantically trying to find an exit. She could hear the footsteps of a thousand robots heading her way. She looked left, right and finally up. Her heart gave a little leap of joy as she saw a faint glimmer of light. Quickly, Ava ran over to the wall and started to scale up, using her suction gloves. Just as she was about to reach the top, the robots arrived. Ava desperately climbed faster but one of the robots aimed their stun gun at her and fired.
Ow! Ava felt a surge of pain run throughout her entire body. She gritted her teeth and continued to climb, trying her best to ignore the burning stings. She reached up to grab the ledge where she could haul herself out to freedom. Her fingertips stretched out and was just about to touch it when another shot was fired. This time, Ava couldn't ignore the pain. She let go of the wall and fell to her death.
Ava gasped and sat up in bed panting breathlessly. She reached over for her glass of water that she had kept handy. It was another one of her spy dreams that was forever haunting her. She took another giant gulp of water as she tried to erase the memories. She couldn't.
Her life as a teenage spy was a thing of the past. She had been one of the best and was even giving an award by the American President himself. But not anymore...Not after that incident...She had been on temporary leave for five years now. Five years of being a normal everyday teenager. But she wasn't normal...
Ava sighed as she flopped back against her pillow. Her dreams had been bothering her more than ever. Maybe it was some sort of sign. A sign that she should go back to the life she had...the life she knew. Ava sighed again and turned on her side where she was now facing the window. Maybe...

"Hello?"
Ava took a deep breath before responding "Remember me?"
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line. Ava clutched her phone nervously.
"Well well well, what do I owe this pleasure?"
Ava smiled in relief "Just my old job back."

Everything had changed. It was no longer the same buildings she remembered but instead something entirely different. There were no familiar faces either. Ava couldn't see any of her old crowd. They were probably all on missions and building a successful career, unlike her...
"Ow!"
A sudden push to the ground jolted her back to reality. She looked up and saw that someone else had fallen down with her.
"Oh my god, are you alright?" she gasped as the stranger winced as he rubbed his head.
"I'm fine, no thanks to you."
He stood up and at once Ava could see just how good looking he was. His brown hair was all tousled from the fall, but in a way it just made him look sexier. His eyes were pools of brown, like melted chocolate and Ava felt like she could just stare into them forever.
"Watch where you're going," he muttered before skulking off.
Ava stared after him in shock. How rude was he? Geez, it was just an accident. She realised she was still on the floor and quickly picked herself up and brushed the dirt off her pants. She gave one last scathing look at his back before walking off.
