Valentines Day.
There was always something magical about this day, and for Cry that something was Felix.

It was always bliss to wake up and roll over only to see those deep, frosted blue eyes gazing at you, adoration inlaid within the vivid collage of blues and grey.
"Mornin'." He managed tiredly, running a hand through his hair and pushing back the untameable mane he'd proudly dubbed his 'floof'. (reference? XD)

I smiled at him, leaning over to kiss him good morning, and he eagerly returned the kiss.
"Hey, remember what day it is?"
I feigned ignorance and shook my head, managing to look genuinely confused. "No..? Did something special happen today?"
Felix gasped, (over dramatically may I add) and slugged me in the arm. "Ry! H-How could you forget..."
"Forget what? The most important day of my life? The day I was confessed to by the most beautiful, wonderful, moderately funny-" He gave me a look. "I mean, hilarious and brilliant man I've ever seen?"
Felix pressed a hand to his chest, looking genuinely taken back. "Oh, Ryan..."

I smiled, bringing him into my arms. He was so easy to sway, and very easily won over. I knew that, like all the trivial things I'd learned about Felix over the 5 years we'd been together - he was very sentimental, and would cling to the little things. Heartfelt compliments would win him over faster than a big house or a fancy car.
I learned to love the way he cherished the finer things in life very quickly, it was one of my favourite things about him.
Admittedly, I do have a lot of favourite things about him - like the way his hair gets tangled and sticks out when he just wakes up, or the way his nose crinkles and the corners of his eyes wrinkle as he smiles or laughs, the way that when someone else would take you out to dinner at a fancy restaurant for your first anniversary, he'd take you to all your favourite places with a wide smile and an endless supply of ideas.

He was creative, to say the least. And spontaneous - which wasn't always a good thing, but it helped to keep me on my toes.

Felix had his flaws too, I'm not so blindly in love with him that I don't notice. He's a crybaby, and if you fight he'll usually end up running off. He didn't like to face his problems unless coaxed into doing so, but he'd always help others with theirs. He was somewhat stubborn, so we often clashed when it came to opinions; what to watch, what to eat, we even argued over who got this one great spot on the couch. But that's okay, because we'd always end up making up. (And making out, heh.)

We'd compromise and watch a show we both liked, eating leftovers and curled up, spooning one another on the favoured spot. That's what I loved about him, even his weakest points gave me reasons to love him.

Felix curled up against my side, and I smiled, pecking his lips before making an effort to get up
The little blonde leech clung to me, legs wrapping around my waist and arms lazily dropped around my neck as he hung off my back, pressing soft kisses to my neck.

"I've got a surprise for you..."
I raised a brow. "A surprise?" I repeated, cockily finishing, "Is it a burnt cake that you tried to cover up with pink frosting, like last year?"
Felix glared at me, pouting. "One year, Ryan! You burn a cake once, and they never let it go!"

I giggled as he huffed, finally giving up his temper tantrum when I leaned back to peck his forehead. It was almost a waste to pull away, so I stayed there, nosing his sandy blonde locks briefly.

He smelled like cinnamon and apples...

Felix finally hoped off my back when I requested to get dressed, going to his own respective drawer and pulling out an outfit - bright and colourful, pastel almost, contrasting the grungy, deep reds, blacks and greys I picked out.

I'd chucked on a flannel, plaid, with all the colours listed previously, and he'd picked out a pastel blue sweatshirt.
I smiled, taking his hand just as he pushed the sleeves of the sweater up to his elbows.
"So? My surprise?" I urged, impatiently. I was a child when offered something unknown.
Felix shook his head with a smile, grabbing my hands back and leading me out into the hall.
I grew more and more puzzled the further down we walked.
Felix stopped outside the room we never used (which is deemed the 'waste of space' room) and urged me toward the door. There was some odd smell in the air... Paint..?

He waited patiently as I pushed the door open and stepped in.
I think I needed to pick my jaw up off the floor, literally.

The whole room was painted, even the goddamn floorboards had been spray painted and re-done in lacquer, giving them a beautiful shine.

Felix was magic, I swear...

The walls were all painted in extravagant and rich colours, an array of dark blues, and deep violets all mixed together to look like the sky. Specks of white were carefully painted amongst the swirling and deep abyss of colours, forming small milky ways, constellations, and even the occasional shooting star.
The floor had been painted to match, as well as the roof; which also adorned a few paper stars, hung up with white thread.
This... All of it was beautiful.
I'd never seen anything so amazing...

"You always told me how much you loved the night sky," Felix finally piped up, stepping up to wrap his arms around my waist. "Remember Cry? Remember the night you reached out and said 'if I could have one wish, I'd love to have the sky and the stars'. Well... Surprise..?"
I turned to Felix, eyes wide and speckled with tears. He seemed unsure on whether this was a positive or negative reaction.
The moment I threw my arms around him and spun him though, he understood.

"Oh my fucking god you cheesy bastard!"
"I'm guessing you like it?"
"Like it, I fucking love it! How long did this take you?!"
"About a month."
"...And you managed to hide it all this time?"
"You're not very observant, Mr.Monki." He stated with a smug grin.
I frowned at my pet-peeve and his nickname for me, but the frown melted into a loving smile as I turned back to take in the room. "Oh my god Felix... You really put my gift to shame, you know that? Prick." Suddenly the two one-way tickets to Sweden I'd got did seem very minimal...
Felix laughed, that crazy hyena laugh, and leaned over to nose my Adam's apple.
"Just seeing that smile as the stars shine in your eyes is enough of a perfect gift for me." (Cheesy bastard.)

Felix is unpredictable; always keeping me on my toes. With his little tricks and plots - painting a whole fucking room to look like the night sky has to be his best, I'd say.

So, I sort of like this one actually... I just listened to music and got inspired :D
Hope you like it, and hope it was fluffy enough; who knows, maybe I'll add more to this 'book'? Not direct sequels to this, but things to do with the sky perhaps? Hmmm...
Whelp, see you next time! And thanks for reading ( ˊ͈ ˋ͈)
FYI Felix is so getting laid tonight huehuehue~
