"You really think you can change him?"
" I know I can. I can feel it." I whisper. Doubt is dripping from his voice as he questions me, but my resolve...my resolve to change him is unbreakable.
"I'll let you in on something. No one in this world has ever changed anyone...not by words...and not by love." He sighed as he looked out into the night. Whether he was speaking of her personal experience, I didn't know, but somehow, my heart skipped with those words. Somehow, as I peered outside, beside him I felt so small.
