Shiro is focused on his book while trying to solve a problem. Rengoku stares at his student sometimes looking at the clock. Today Rengoku has something in mind.
RIIING!
The bell rings, all of the students start tidying their stuff and put them inside their bag. Shiro is putting his books inside when Rengoku calls out on him.
Rengoku: L/N... help me tidying the lab, please
Shiro: um... excuse me sir, but today's not my cleaning duty though...
Rengoku gulps and laughs sheepishly.
Rengoku: ahaha I see... I guess I can't help it...
Rengoku walks out of the class after saying goodbye to his students. He sighs on his way, feeling kind of dumb. He forgets that he couldn't just tell a student to clean up with him when they have no cleaning duty against their will.
Rengoku: guess I have to wait for another fe-
Shiro: Rengoku sensei...
Rengoku looks back and see Shiro approaches him.
Shiro: I guess I can help you out a b-
Rengoku: YOU REALLY ARE A GOOD STUDENT
Shiro was startled and starts walking to the lab as Rengoku pushes him from behind.
Shiro thinks that Rengoku is a pretty fierce person to begin with, but today, he's even more fired up.
Shiro: is he that happy to clean his lab or something?
The two get in the lab and start tidying the room. Shiro is using a cloth to wipe the glasses and tools while Rengoku puts the documents in order.
Shiro is focusing on wiping the tube in his hand.
Rengoku: so L/N... it's just you and your sister now?
Shiro: yes... after our parents passed away, she became my legal guardian... (wipe another glass)
Rengoku: um so how old is she?
Shiro: she'll turn 25 this year... (brings the glass closer to see any dust left)
Rengoku: I see... um so... where does she work?
Shiro sighs, and puts the glass on the table. He stares at Rengoku who stares at him with his big eyes and the smile that never left his face.
Shiro: ummm sensei... are you... perhaps... interested in my sister?
Gradually Rengoku's face turns bright red and he averts his gaze somewhere.
Rengoku: ehehe... is... is it that obvious?
Shiro: Sensei... you literally asked me to help you with the lab and interrogating me about her...
The two stare and then Rengoku sits politely in front of his student.
