A/N PLEASE READ!!!!!!!! Ok so, this isn't really an x reader it's more of you and Babadook are roommates???? you're letting him stay in your house and because of that, he said he wouldn't kill you. You are writing notes to each other. hope yall enjoy it! 

Warning I haven't watched the movie in ages because of the scene with the doggo ( if you know , you know) so warning this is probably really inaccurate! Anyway, ON TO THE STORY!!!

"Yo Babadook. Are you gonna stay at my house?" "LOL YEAH" "Cool just don't eat my pop tarts, I'll give you worms and maggots, ok?" " YEAH SURE" "K, cool. CAN I TRY ON YOUR HAT!" "... NO" "Rats......" 

( that was just some random trash I wrote, ill do a proper one now <3)

"Hey baba" 

"Hi" ( just imagine it's in child-like handwriting) 

"do you wanna do something fun?" 

" like what?" 

"We could watch something on tv if you want?" 

He thought for a moment before scribbling something on the piece of paper 

" ...ok"

He gave the note back to you, you took it and smiled. You waved him over toward your couch. He took a seat next to you as you turned on Netflix. " so what do you wanna watch?" you asked him. This was the first time you had said anything to him, he's heard your voice before but it was only you screaming when he tried to attack you. But you too made an agreement that you would let him stay in your house and you would feed him and he wouldn't kill you. 

The Babadook was a bit surprised at the sound of your voice, but he just shrugged his shoulders and looked at the screen. 

"HOW ABOUT WE WATCH RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE! IT'S AMAZING AND REALLY FUNNY! I think you'll really enjoy it!" 

The Babadook looked and you and gave a slight nod. What was this ( amazing) Rupaul's drag race? 

* time passed and you're on the second seasons * 

"YASSSSSS, I LOVE RAVEN SO MUCH!!!" you screamed, you looked over at Babadook. He looked so focused on the screen. It was like he was hypnotized by the queens. 

"Do you like it?" He slowly nodded his head before picking up the pace nodding vigorously, he spilled widely showing off his sharp teeth. He looked at you with big eyes and continued to smile before turning his attention back to the screen. You let out a soft laugh and continued to watch the show. 

Time passed and you eventually fell asleep on babadooks shoulder. When you awoke you were surprised to find he had binge-watched all 13 seasons. You yawned, " Did you enjoy that?" He snapped his head towards you, with a shocked expression on his face. "I'll take that as a yes," you said with a smile. He nodded and smiled at you. He pulled out a piece of paper and a pen and started writing. " Is there any more?" you giggled as you read that " there is another show called all stars-" you were cut of what babadook snatched the remote from your lap and began scanning through Netflix. You burst out laughing, " ill go get some popcorn"

That was so fun to write! Since babadook is a gay ICON, I thought he would really enjoy RuPaul's drag race. ( if you haven't watched it already, watch it. It's amazing!) I hope you guys enjoyed this story, I love you all, and have an amazing day!!!!
