•°. CHAPTER ONE *࿐

Toshinori Yagi had never thought that he would ever get to do things that a father would do.

He did think about having a family eventually of his own whenever his thoughts would wander off into space, but given his dedication to his job and holding up the title as both the number one hero and being the "Symbol of Peace"– He was practically married to his job with a lot of duties and responsibilities falling on his shoulders.

Evil never rests, which means, so does he. It's almost hard to have some free time– but even if he did, he would always go back segwaying to saving some sort of event.

Though it was fun to think about having a family of his own, he thought that it would be impossible.

. . .Until ten years ago.

Toshinori glanced in the rearview mirror of the car he was driving to check up on a certain passenger in the back seat.

A girl tucked underneath an All Might-themed blanket was sleeping comfortably with her body occupying all of the backseats. Squeezing herself in that amount of space. In her arms she held a medium-sized All Might plushie with her chin resting on top of the character's head; the two upright strands of hair of the plushie conveniently framing her face.

Toshinori couldn't help but smile.

She looked like an absolute angel. Maybe it was because of how peaceful she looked asleep, or perhaps it was solely because of the pair of small white wings that she had on either side of her head– folded in front of her eyes that amusingly acted as a sleeping mask.

She was snoring softly and seemed to be in a deep sleep.

'Well, it's only natural.' All Might thought to himself, sweatdropping, 'She barely got any sleep playing those shooting games all night. . .'

Ah yes, those damn games.

The poor man would occasionally hear her swearing profusely from her room, raging. He would sometimes even hear her voice in his sleep, and he could tell that it was not a dream because of how vivid and clear he can hear her words.

The hero let out a silent sigh, remembering how his morning earlier had gone.

Glancing every now and then at the mirror, he suddenly thought about how time flies so fast.

Ten years ago she was just a small child that he would always carry and play around with. He recalled how her eyes would always brighten up whenever he would come home and how she would happily throw herself at him before he would spin her around in his arms. Toshinori could hear her joyful laugh echo at the back of his mind, and he felt himself hold onto the steering wheel tight, clamping his thin lips.

His little girl, now coming to school for the first time to become a hero in UA.

He feels absolutely excited, but at the same time, solemn. Her being homeschooled after all these years, this is the first time that he's taking her to school for her first day.

Funnily enough, his little girl actually didn't have any plans to go to a hero school– nor does she have any plans at all. She's in that moment of her life where. . .she simply goes with the flow. Unlike other kids, most of them would be thrilled to go to a prestigious hero school and follow their dreams of becoming a significant figure in society that people could lean on.

But this little one?

She doesn't seem to have any aspirations or goals at the moment. She hasn't found her will just yet.

So, as a parent, Toshinori had taken it upon himself to push her to the path of being a hero. That way she could see and experience for herself if she really wanted to be one or not, and at least in this way— she'd grow on the "good" side.
