THAT NIGHT, I COULDN'T SLEEP. I WASN'T SURE WHY EVEN. It may have been the nightmares i have been having recently.  The lack of sleep was Killing me. i was often either late to class, or sleeping In class. I decided that i had to fall asleep this time.

"Y/N,just fall asleep, i told myself, in a whispery voice so nobody else heard me. Eventually, i fell asleep. but not to a dream or something. 

"Tom, what are you doing? Kiara asked. "Nothing, just studying, he responded, coldly."Why? you should be in class."  "C'mon, my best friend's here, i couldn't go to class without ya, She Joked. He turned a bit red."yeah, okay. well i'm just studying. Dumbledore has a test coming up."

"Shit, i didn't study, Kiara muttered. "here, you can study with me, he smiled. "Hm, the cold Tom Riddle a softie? she Joked. "No, he responded, coldly.  "Geez, sorry, i'll study with you then, Kiara said, and sat next to him.

"What page?"

"560, the final page actually. i want to show you something, don't tell anyone k?"

"I won't, Tom, we're friends after all."

I gasped for air as I woke up, whatever dream i had, felt real, maybe Voldemort was right, maybe the past would reveal itself, and once i went back to sleep, it was an ordinary dream again, how weird.

When Morning finally came, i got dressed pretty quickly, and, motioned to breakfast in the Great hall. my friends were there, so it made things better. "Hi y/n, Sophia greeted, eating away at eggs and bacon.

"Yum, eggs and bacon, Hi Soph! I greeted. "What's up? you seem tired, Sophia asked, concerned. "I couldn't sleep last night, so i managed to fall asleep at 10 PM, I mentioned. "Oh, i hope you get better sleep tonight, Sophia added. Kaitlyn nodded."why were you deprived of sleep last night anyway?"

I was hesistant, to confess. should i tell them i had a past life? i mean, it still didn't make too much sense to me after all. so i had to lie.

"Nightmares, i lied. "You poor thing! Kaitlyn comforted."I'm sure they won't bother you tonight." "Hopefully, i add, and felt bad for lying to them. but sometimes, you have to. 

"Anyways, i've finished my breakfast, i announced."First class starts in... a few Minutes, i better get going!" i sounded nervous and suspicious, surprised they didn't suspect something on the spot.

It was Potions Class today, so i got in early. i was one of the best students in Potions at least, wasn't enough for my now dead adoptive parents.

"Miss Y/N, Early as usual, Slughorn chuckled. i chuckled along."Yup, that's me." i went to my assigned spot. I wish we could sit down, but when you make potions, it's best to stand up. so it's not a good idea, anyway.

By 8:35, everyone had arrived. So that was good, nobody was late or Missing. Slughorn's Lessons were Always Interesting to me, we learn new Potions each day, and, I don't complain. Snape was more boring about it, though. so maybe a New teacher is what we really needed this year.

Kaitlyn was in my class, Sophia as well, Theo, not really. he's barely in any of my classes, maybe one or two.

We often gossiped in class, but was scowled for that, we laughed. it was funny too. Kaitlyn whispered,"y/n, have you and draco gotten back together?" I shook my head. and then, another memory occured.

"Kiara, wait up! Tom sort of yelled, to the Slytherin girl running down a hallway. "Sorry, Kiara apologized."I'll wait for you." she giggled when he stepped forward."Don't do that again, we're friends remember?"

"Yeah, my Mum wants me to do better in school, so i should go to the library, want to come? Kiara smirked. "Sure, Tom responded. she was his only real friend, he had a group of people called "Death Eaters", yet they weren't a friend sort of group. 

She was the only one who wanted to friend, the "strange" kid. In the study session, Tom sort of wandered off, she didn't think much of it, and started to study on her own. when she left, Tom hadn't returned, she kept her concerns to herself, he was seventeen and could handle himself.

Slightly worried, she went to her dorm, and waited for him. he still didn't return.

I woke up once more, falling asleep in Class. Slughorn's class was over now, so i left embarassed. I was deprived of sleep. and went to my dorm, putting an alarm, and sleeping. no memory this time, only soft sleeping. undisturbed, and well.
