Lauren's P.O.V

"Hey, how are you doing?" Someone had said behind me.

I jumped a little and I exclaimed, " O-oh I'm alright, my name is Lauren, you?"

——time skip cause y'all know what happens——————————-

"Truth," I say.

"Ok, good choice. Tell me a secret," Payton said loudly.

I was shocked she had asked this but I still answer, " Well I used to have this black cat named Lacy and my mother hated cats so she never knew about her."

"REALLY that's so cool. I grew up in California and I was never allowed to have any pets," Payton says with sadness.

"When did it get so late?! It's already 12:30 we probably should get to bed." Payton exclaimed.

"Yea I guess but I have to go somewhere first. So I'll probably see you in the morning," I said.

—-3 hours later——————————
With Lauren in an ally way.

"Who is the victim tonight boss," I say in a hushed voice.

The voice from the phone said, "Kelsey Hills they live in *********st******."

"Ok, What's the reason you need me to kill her," I say.

The voice quickly states, "She refused to join us and she already knows too much about our business."

"K, I'll get right to it" I said.

—————time skip ( she's at the apartment now)————–————-

I quietly sneak into the apartment and head to my room. Once I lay on my bed I'm out cold.

—- Payton's P.O.V———————-

I heard Lauren at around 3 am come into the apartment and I heard her walk to her room. I quickly rushed to my door to see what she was doing out so late. I assumed she tried to be quiet but failed. She somehow managed to knock over a pan and it loudly fell to the floor. I looked up at her to see she hadn't noticed. Once she got to her room and closed the door I fully opened mine and went to the kitchen to pick up the pot when I noticed something red on the floor. I pushed it a side in my mind to ask her later and I started to clean up the red gunk. The next morning before I headed to work I turned on the news and it said " Kelsey Hills has been reported missing as of last night." I was shocked but at the same time a little happy, Kelsey was my mothers friend and she was not a kind person in the slightest. Lauren just walked out of her room and I took the opportunity to ask her about the red stuff that was in the ground.
"Lauren, what was the red gunk on the ground outside your door last night?"

Lauren froze, she looked horrified, "O-oh um I got a cut last night and some blood fell without me knowing."

"Ooooooke then, why'd you come home so late?"

She then asked me a question, "Why were you up so late?"

"Well for one thing I was worried about you, we may just have met but you are my roommate and I don't want anything bad to happen to you. I answered your question, now you answer mine."
