Full Moon

it was another night where the full moon decided to make itself present.

they were in the shrieking shack of course

Remus sat on the small bed with his knees tucked into his arms

James, Peter and Sirius in a corner, James and Peter coming up with their next prank, While Sirius simply stared at Remus, and if looks could talk, Sirius would be saying I love you over and over again.

James and Peter had finally turned into their Animal form, but as always Sirius waits until last minute to change, he needs to make sure Moony is okay despite Remus telling him to not wait so long

Remus looked at them, and thought How did he ever get so lucky? Friends that show him love and care through and through, and a boyfriend who will do anything to make sure he is okay.

Friends who since the beginning have made him feel more loved than he has felt his entire life

Remus loved Sirius for wanting to make sure he was okay, but it was dangerous and silly, and more than anything made the pain harder to bear

The only thing he could think about was the fact that Sirius watched every single one of his transformation, he had to watch Remus scream in agony, watch the wolf take over his body, and if it looked as bad as it felt, he couldn't imagine it being a pretty sight.

I won't scream, I'll put a brave face on for him, I'll bite my tongue, make it less painful to watch, oh how he wished Sirius would stop being stubborn and just transform so he won't watch the process

Thought coming to a stop, Remus began to feel the familiar burn in his muscles

It was beginning

He's been through this so many times yet this one felt like the most painful one yet

As the transformation began, he felt the ripping pain take over, it hadn't been this painful before, or maybe it has been, he can't recall the pain level of each of his transformation, the only thing he can remember is that each transformation began with pain and each one of them were unbearable and new.

To say he was hurting was an understatement, sitting was no longer an option, maybe if he laid down the transformation will go by quicker.

He laid flat on the bed looking at Sirius straight in the eye

He loved him, that was undeniable, he was the one that made everything worth it, if it all meant that at the end of the day he can end up in his arms, then it was all worth it.

tears began to come flooding out, it hurts.

He screams, of course he screams, how can he even begin to believe he wouldn't? it bloody hurts, but this time, his mouth spoke before he could stop it.

"OW, IT HURTS, IT HURTS, IT HURTS, IT HURTS, SIRIUS, SIRIUS IT HURTS, MAKE IT STOP PLEASE"

He felt horrible, not only because of the pain, but because Sirius was still watching him, he knew Sirius wanted to comfort him, but how could he, he's about to turn into a monster, but the sudden soft smile Sirius gave him made him feel warm inside, made the pain subside for a split second.
he looked at Sirius with tears in his eyes, I can't even begin to think what I would be without you Sirius.

it was unbearable, looking at Moony in so much pain, he wanted so badly to run over to him, hold him, protect him, and just make him feel better, but he knew it was foolish to act upon it

all Sirius could think of was that it didn't matter if his mother threw every curse and hex in the book at him, it didn't matter if his family disowned him, if all that meant he got be with Remus then it won't matter at all, if he could describe Remus in one word it would be brave.

Remus goes through this pain over and over and over again and still comes out as the most joyful person ever
Remus is the one that dances with him when nobody is watching
the one that holds Sirius and makes him feel loved
the one that sings with him
the one who backs him up when he's being dramatic and a drama Queen
the one that makes love to him
the one that makes everything in life worth it, and if Remus can go through this every month and still be there for Sirius in every way possible, then he will be the one to protect Remus until the day he dies.

As the wolf began to take over
the last memory he had was Sirius.

"You are the bravest soldier of them all Moony"

That night they raced towards the moon

Remus began to stir awake, he felt slight pain, broken ankle.
he was human again, his eyes fluttered until he could fully open them

First he saw sunlight, very lightly since the windows are sealed, but it was there, and secondly he saw a pair of beautiful eyes staring back at him, hair falling towards his face like a waterfall, and a scent that always made him feel at home

he smiled up at the boy

"hi moony"

"hi"

"I love you"

"I know, everyone does" Remus grinned

Sirius just looked at him, with the warmest smile ever, Remus couldn't hold back the pink tint that came to his cheeks

"I love you too" Remus said looking at Sirius, fond overtaking his look

Only when Remus suddenly remembered he was laying naked and vulnerable
did he look around and realize, they were alone.

"I kicked them out" smiled Sirius

"Peter was quite happy to get to run up to breakfast, and quite literally dragged James with him" laughed Sirius, replying as though Sirius knew what Remus was thinking

"I wanted to be alone with you, this morning" Sirius said
as he looked at Remus

Remus felt a sudden warm feeling pass through his body, if Sirius kept going he might over throw the cold temperature he was captured by

"I'm cold" Remus finally said as he was still laying naked on the floor
despite he fact that Sirius has seen Remus naked on multiple occasions, Remus still felt embarrassed and shy being exposed in front of him, but nonetheless safe.

Sirius grabbed a blanket near him, wrapping Remus's skinny but lengthy body and pulling him as close to his body as he could
Remus could hear his heartbeat
Sirius was holding him as if it was the last day on this earth.

Remus felt safe, burying his head onto Sirius neck
"thank you" Remus didn't need to explain what he was thankful for, Sirius got the message
enjoying Sirius' embrace
he was his magic
as he was being held, all his problems seemed to vanish into thin air.

Remus realized they would have to go back up eventually, but he didn't care, he wanted to enjoy this

if he could, he would make this moment last forever, the sense of love and safety he received from Sirius was worth millions
.
Sirius mind continuously thought about was Remus in pain, and how the only thing he'll ever do is protect this boy

protect his Moony.

This is my first ever story, this idea came to my head when I was re-reading All The Young Dudes, we know he transforms while in they're in there with him, but what if Moony called out for Sirius one night during his transformation?
