Unexpected Hang-out

Thunderstorm blankly stared at his three friends who are sitting on a red bench with sadness. It may not look like it, but he is confused as to why they seem sad. Earlier that day, Thunderstorm receive a lot of messages from Gopal, Blaze, and Fang saying they should hang out at a new arcade that was open almost two weeks ago near the school this weekend. By the messages and a few voice messages, they seemed to be excited. He didn't have anything to do this weekend, and so he agreed to join them.

They agreed to meet up at the park at exactly 2 in the afternoon and now here they are. With a sigh, he walked towards them with his hands resting inside the pockets of his pants. "What's wrong with you guys?" He asked, it's obvious by his tone that he's starting to get annoyed. He literally walked all the way here from his house, and he better not expect that they'll cancel or something. "Why do you all look so sad?"

Gopal has his elbows resting on his lap, his face buried on his hands; Fang looking up at the sky blankly with a frown; and finally, Blaze stared at the ground with the most solemn expression. The fiery elemental weakly turned to the lightning one to which Thunderstorm raised a brow. "Come sit down with us, we'll tell you." Blaze replied almost monotonously.

The red-eyed male furrowed his eyebrows skeptically, staring at Blaze flatly before sighing. He gave in, and so he complied; he sat on the bench next to Blaze. Blaze then patted Thunderstorm's shoulder, before putting his hands down on his lap as he looked down on the ground.

"The bench is freshly painted."
