Chapter 10: The retake of Maria I

***The retake will be a few chapters long. Yes I do intend making many twists and turns. Yes you will experience pain.***

The day of the retake, a couple hours before leaving towards the walls.~

Gon and Killua are getting ready for the retake. "Gon don't separate yourself from Allura. I don't want you to get hurt." Killua says as he adjusts his leather straps that surround his thighs.

"Killua, it'll be fine besides we are a bit stronger and more experienced." He says as he jumps off his bed. "No Gon, Killua is right. Sometimes you tend to be selfish and take things your own way. He only worries for you." Aidan says as he leans against the wall. "I talked to Allura already you'll be at her side at all times. We don't know what those titans can exactly do. Some are quick and some not so much." Gon sighs heavily. "Fine then...but I will help. You won't stop me from doing that."

Aidan chuckles. He knows when Gon is fired up, he can't be stopped. That's what he admired in Gon. His determination.

They finish suiting up. All 5 nen users all in their uniforms walk out to put on the ODM gear.

"You five...makes sure to always leave on your hoods. We can't let the enemy tell who is eren. Also don't use your abilities until ordered." Levi says as he looks at the nen users. They all nod their heads and head to the stables.

Gon sees Eren talking to Mikasa and Armin. "Erennn!!!" Eren turns to see Gon walking towards him. "Gon, are you ready?" Gon looks at him and smiles. "You bet I am." Eren nods his head. "Eren don't get hurt now ok?" Gon says as he looks at him. "Don't worry Gon I'll be fine. Wait don't start crying now!" Gon was tearing up. He had remembered how Eren got kidnapped.

"You all better be safe ok. ALL OF YOU OK!!" Gon screams to all the scouts. All the scouts smile at him. "Gon calm down it's okay we'll be fine." Gon weakly smiles. He looks at Eren, Armin and Mikasa then proceeds hug them. "Please don't get hurt." They promise him.

On the other side of the room~

Killua sees Erwin standing there.

Killua approachs him. "Commander I'll do my best to help you today. I don't guarantee I'll be much help but I want to help you." Killua says a bit shyly. Erwin looks at him. "Killua you are a strong kid. I admire your strong willingness, you make me remember of my younger self a bit. Do your best today Killua." Killua looks at him. He saw how strong Erwin was. He knew he wasn't some ordinary man with a title. He truly embodied a true leader and commander. "Yes Sir." Erwin pats killua on the shoulder and smiles. "Alright don't let me down."

Misa was also standing by the scouts. "Misa are you nervous. I mean this is your first mission with the scouts." Misa laughs and nods. "Yea a bit you all will be there so it'll be fine." Jean looks at her. He had grown fond to her. Misa felt the same way. "Umm...Misa I'll be at your side if you want to. I mean what if something happens to you." Misa looks at Jean. "Ok then you'll be my partner." She says blushing a bit. The look at each other and blush. Misa places a kiss on his cheek. "Let's do our best ok Jean?" Jean only nods as he spaces out.

"Cadets!!! Move out. On your horses!!" Hange yells as she approaches Aidan and Allura. "Heyy are you ready?! You both look great. Levi did a great job didn't he?" Allura nods and Aidan on grunts. "Both of you and four eyes lets move." Levi says as he walks past them. Aidan turns to Allura. "Be careful alright. Let's get this over with."

All the scouts are on their horses and green cloaks on their shoulders. They continue on towards the small town. They approach the wall were they proceed to move the horse over the wall. Once they finish they climb the wall. There was a huge crowd waiting for them. They were screaming their names and chanting.

"Well would you look at that." Hange says as they look down from the wall. "Tch its too early for screaming." Levi says as he sighs.

The levi squad on the other hand were screaming their throats out. "Yeaa lets doo thiss!!!" "Yall got that right!!!" Connie and Sasha scream.

Allura and Aidan only smile while Gon and Killua join the levi squad screaming.

Then they all turn their heads as they hear Erwin's scream. They were all confused but the levi squad only chanted louder. It was time for them to go.

Fast foward them on the other side of the wall of rose. "Cadets on foward!!" Erwin screams. "Move to your positions and know your places." The scouts all move in positions as the all scream in unison. "Yes sir"

The use smoke signals to signal their positions. 5 nen users surround Eren. "Hmm...Erwin it's weird. We haven't seen any titans. Something is off." Levi says as he rides next to he. "Keep moving in we are approaching the wall of Maria but don't let your guard down." Levi looks at him and sighs. "Ok then if that's your order." Levi goes on his way.

Allura stares at the landscape. It was beautiful and bright. They approach a town and look out for any titan. "So far none." Erwin says a bit concerned but only brushes it off. They approach the wall and stay get off their horses as they climb the wall. A few scouts stay behind to take of the horses. All the scouts surround the wall. "Look for anything suspicious people." Erwin commands. All the scouts look in the destroyed houses and fields.

20 mins later~

A scouts approaches Erwin and salutes. "Sir it seems to be clear there's no signs of movement or anyone." Erwin looks at him and nods. "That's impossible...unless they ran away which is a possibility." Armin approaches him. "Sir I have a plan. I would like you to approve of it first though." Erwin nods as he hears Armin's plan. "Armin give the order then. Give the order to search the walls."Armin flushes. "No no sir you are the commander I'm only a mere cadet." Erwin looks at him sternly. Armin sighs and salutes. He turns to the scout who gave the message to Erwin. "Tell everyone to search the wall. To tap their blade onto the walls to see any hollow parts." The scouts salute and runs off. Armin looks at Erwin and nods his head.

Eren approach the hole and gets ready to plug the hole. He jumps in the air and transforms to his titan. He uses the hardening technique to cover the hole. He pulls himself out and is confused. "Did I really do it that easily? I don't know how I feel about this bit never the less we did it." He climbs up and sees Levi. "Done I covered it." Levi looks at him. "That doesn't mean the retake operation is over. Once we kill those traitors then it's a win but for now it continues."

Meanwhile with the nen users~

Killua stares as he had just watched Eren cover the hole. "Cool" he thinks to himself. He looks at erwin. "Sir I didn't think it would be this easy." Erwin looks at him. "No killua there's more to come."

Allura sits on the wall and stares off as the wind hits her face. She can't get a feeling something was off. How she sensed someone with nen. "Ah it's probably just me." She quickly brushes it off. Gon looks at her. "Allura? What do you we are going to do now? I mean we haven't seen a single titan. Do you think they ran away?" Allura looks the scouts as they tap the walls. "I don't know Gon we'll just have to wait and se-" They see a lightning strike come down. They both stand up and pull their blades out. "Gon that thing is it the Armour titan?" Allura says quietly. Gon only feels resentment and rage. He remembered how they almost took Eren away. "Yea it is." They stare at the Armour titan as it lays on the field.
