Annabeth's POV
After Rachel admitted that she liked Percy, which wasn't really news, I knew I had to leave. I didn't know why it hurt so much or why I felt the urge to cry, but it did hurt and I could feel the tears threatening to spill down my cheeks.
"Annabeth!" I heard Percy yell as he chased after me. Percy... he is the reason why I'm feeling this. Do I like him? I think I definitely like him way more than a friend, but I would never want to jeapordize our friendship.
I stopped running and he caught up to me. I turned to face him and a tear leaked out. Percy put his warm soft hand on my cheek and wiped the tear away with his thumb. He left his hand there. And almost simoltaneously, we both leaned in and our lips touched. It felt so right. He put his hands on my waist and I threw my arms around his necks to deepen the kiss. We pulled apart and he smiled. I smiled too.
"Does this mean, we are uh Boyfriend and Girlfriend now?" Percy asked, blushing.
I laughed at that, "Only if you want Seaweed Brain."
He gave me another quck kiss on the lips. "Does that answer your question?"
"Hmmm, i don't know..." I smiled and I pulled him in for another kiss. It was pretty much the best night of my life.
Rachel's POV
Everyone left to go back to their respective cabins. As for me? I needed to take a walk. It just so happened that I walked to an area to find Annabeth and Percy talking.
Annabeth said, "Only if you want Seaweed Brain." Huh, I wonder what she is talking about.
Then Percy leaned into to give her a kiss. What? NO! He.... they.... I, I feel tears spilling down my cheeks.
Percy said, "Does that answer your question?"
I hear Annabeth say something else, but I couldn't make it out. Then they kissed again. It was all too painful and I had to leave.
Travis' POV
It was a new day and I was ready for another round of Truth or Dare. I kinda felt bad for Rachel and was curious about what happened between Annabeth and Percy last night. I totally think they got together, but Connor doesn't think so. We bet a dozen drachamas. i hope I'm right because I just had to pay my brother twenty for a different bet that I lost and now I'm broke.
We all gather in Percy's cabin today, but something feels different. I notice that Annabeth and Percy are sitting super close to each other, more than normal... hmmm...
"Rachel, it's your turn," I said.
"Fine, Travis," Oh no, Miss Dare looked mad for some unknown reasoun, "I dare you to go to the Big House with a bucketful of Sour Patch kids."
"Umm ok?"
"I'm not done. I want you to walk up to Mr. D and Chiron and I want you to run up to them, carrying the bucket screaming I'm a Sour Patch Kid! over and over again. Then start chucking the candy at them and start screaming things like Sour Patch Kids don't like you. One day we will rule the world!"
Just then the entire room started cracking up except for me. I was already out the door, excited to do my dare. The other gamers began to follow me.
Percy caught up to me. "Hey Travis? Where did you get that bucket of Sour Patch Kids?"
"Oh, they were behind your cabin."
"Ok?"
"Oh, hey, what is going on between you and Annabeth?"
"Nothing," he answered really quickly.
"Come on Perce. It was so obvious. Annabeth was basically sitting on your lap this morning!"
"Ok, Fine," Percy said, sighing, "we, um, may, had um kissed last night."
"FINALLY!" I screamed.
Then Silena shouted, "What is FINALLY! Travis?"
"Percabeth!!!!!"
Then the entire group, minus Annabeth, Percy and Rachel for some unknown reason erupted into cheers and began to chant Percabeth!!! Percabeth!!! Percabeth!!! momentarily forgetting the game. We all noticed Annabeth and Percy blush and a few of the girls coo. Then I remembered the game.
"Come on guys! We can embarrass them later! I want to do my dare!" I shout.
I run to the big house to find Mr. D and Chiron playing another game of Pinochle. I began to shout, "I'M A SOUR PATCH KID. I'M A LITTLE SOUR PATCH KIDDIE. DON'T EAT ME AND MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!!" Then I started to chuck the candy at them and continued to scream, "WE WILL RULE THE WORLD ONE DAY. MY SOUR PATCH SIBLINGS AND I. YOU WILL BOW BEFORE US! WE DON'T LIKE YOU!!!!" Then i ran out of there as fast as my legs could carry me. I walked into the Poseidon cabin to find everyone rolling on the floor laughing. It was so funny I started to laugh to. Ten minutes later we finally calmed down and I said, "Annabeth, truth or dare?"
