I was in the kitchen making myself fish and chips while thinking about Sera and my living here. I kinda felt worried for Aigami since he left the house and didn't come back. I had already undercooked everything due to my brain thinking about Aigami.
How did he become like that? Was he naturally evil? Oh yeah, Sera told me had darkness swollen in him. How did that happen though? I think it must be that he enjoys attention or drama. Then it struck me like an arrow, I loved observing chaos and drama, but hated negative energy.
I realized that I wouldn't mind being feared like Aigami, becoming another person to look out for, it could be entertaining. I smiled with my mouth full and said aloud,
"Time to rewrite history." Ok that was a bit cringe, but I said it anyways. I felt better after saying that and went to bed early but was stopped by the phone ringing. It was Yami, he said,
"Y/N, I know Aigami had been targeting you lately, if he does anything to you, feel free to tell me!" He said in a serious but sweet manner. "Omg, thanks so much for sticking around, I really needed a friend and Aigami isn't really bothering me so no worries, again thanks Yami, I really appreciate it." I said on the phone while smiling knowing that I had someone to protect me. "No problem just tell me if you have any problems, anyways bye Y/N xx" He said while hanging up.
The Next Day...
I had gotten changed and went outside to go the shops and look for new clothes. It was 5am when I woke up due to having a strange sensational feeling inside me. It was now Monday, but I didn't have school since I had done A-Levels and had also passed them miraculously.
I kept glancing back and forward making sure I wasn't followed by anybody. I looked at the side of the street to see if anyone were there, but I couldn't see clearly since it was still quite dark. It took me and hour to find the shops since I felt paranoid and frustrated when it closed until 9am. I decided to go to the mall so I could know more about this city, and at 8am I had gotten lost, so I had texted Yami. I got my old leaflet out from my bag and started skimming it whilst giving a sigh.
"Y/N-Chan, I didn't know you missed me so much, how kind of you to come see me again." Aigami's soft but quiet voice came a couple of inches from my ear. It was quiet, almost seductive I felt heat rise to my cheeks and turned away from him. Don't think about him. Forget him. I said to myself continuously while walking away.
"You're cute when your embarrassed, Y/N-Chan." I shivered and turned behind me.
"I'm lost okay, not here to see-" but was cut off by Aigami really close to my face staring into my eyes with a serious expression.
"You look pale, are you cold?" He continued, I put my hands on my lips to find I was extremely cold, I hadn't noticed before I was trembling from the cold air, I only had a shirt on, thin jeans and a thin cardigan that didn't button up, what was I thinking to myself? All the wrong things apparently.
"The place messes with my head." I murmured to myself.
He leaned even closer, his lips hovering in front of mine and his hot breath on my face, the heat came back to my face, but it was more like cold sweat. I felt hot and moved back to only hurt myself on the wall behind me, I hadn't even realized he had been steering me back towards it.
I felt a headache form and something warm trickle down the back of my neck, I reached up, but my vision swayed, and everything spun.
"H-help me, moron" I managed to mutter before letting my knees drop beneath me, but I never hit the floor, instead I felt like I was being elevated but blacked out before figuring out what was going on.
I woke up laying on a luxurious blue sofa with bandages around my head, hot chocolate on the table and a blanket covering me. Did Aigami do this, all for me? I tried sitting up but felt really dizzy. I started feeling nauseous, so I tried to stand only to fall on Aigami's arms. He sat me down on the sofa, I just felt dizzy and sick. This must have been brought from my awful cooking skills.
"You're hopeless." I heard him say behind me. I slowly turned my head to look at him, not quite sure what my expression was but he turned away so that I couldn't see his face.
"How troublesome, Y/N." He spoke. "Who are you, my mum?" I croaked due to my voice hurting. He was true, I was being troublesome. Memories of my past life were recreating in my head. Everyone worked so hard for me, but I was a burden to them.
I instantly got up, ignoring the throbbing pain in my head and sick feeling in my throat and walked out searching for my bag. I spotted it by the door and started to move towards it, Aigami attempted to grab my hand while saying something but I ignored protesting,
"I don't need your help, I'm fine."
He spun me around, grabbing my shoulders and forcing me look at him. Tears had formed in my eyes, I felt sick, puzzled, and unwanted. He frowned at me.
"Just leave me, you may know my name, where I live and some other stuff, but you don't know what it feels like to be a burden!" I shouted while he let me go.
"Does it make you scared, when you have no one to rely on?"
"I don't need anyone to rely on." I said while glaring at him.
"Well, if being alone when you need help doesn't make you scared, looks like I'm going to have to keep you alive until I find something that does scare you, and that means you stay here until you recover." I didn't have any energy to reply.
