Peter and I

to be friends or not to be friends

and so I sit by myself for the rest of spanish,and icasoally stair back and Peter and Mj and once when I looked back Peter was looking at me and once he saw I was looking at him as well he mouthed the word "I'm sorry" but I wasn't buying it so I just rolled my eye and went back to focusing on the teacher,and at the end of the period the teacher said that we have to pick partners for a project on a latin country and as Peter was walking towards me Mj called him back,so they could be partners and as Peter is he went back,no shocker there I think to myself and as soon as the teacher lets us go I bolt for the door way ignoring Peter on my way out,and make my way to my locker which is where Brad and Ned are standing "How was spanish?" asked Ned "Horiable,ar first we were doing great we made up decided that we would have our movie night tomorw and then Mj called him over calling me a loser friend" "well Peter defended you right?" asked Brad "You know after all these years he would defend me but no,even after he told me not to make a sene he still dosen't.but whatever,oh and also we have a project and just like alway Mj made Peter be her partner" "But you guys are always partners" say Ned "Yea,that's what I thought too" and then Peter comes up to the group "Hey guy!" and just as I'm about to walk away Peter grabs my arm "Y/n can we talk in private" i realse my arm from his grasp and say "sure"and so we go into an empty classroom to talk "What" I say in a sarcastic tone "I just wanted to say" the I cut him off "That your sorry yea I know,but you "girlfriend" litteraly called me a loser,and you didn't stand up for me or say anything to her,after 17 years of friendship I thought you would especailly because I ALWAYS,ALWAYS stood up for you,so save the "I'm sorry speech" because that's nit gonna work" I can see that Peter feels bad about what happened "Y/n I am so so sorry I talked to Mj and I told her not to call you that,and she agreed not to again" he say "Peter! can't you see it she dosen't like me and never has watch she's gonna make you choose between me and her.and once she breaks your heart I'm the one who's gonna clean it up" that's when Peter pulls me for a hug and hugs me tightly and then whispers in my ear "I promise that no matter what,I will,always,always choose you,your my BEST FRIEND,I would'nt let anyone ruin that" then I look into his eye and just say "I just don't want to see you getting hurt,I love you..... as a friend of course" "I love you too y/n......as a friend of course" then we just look into each other eyes,for what feels like forever and then suddenly we both start leaning in for a kiss and we are just inches from eachothers face when......Brad walks in and told us that the bell just rang,and Peter and I let go from each other and just look at one anathor with a look of shock and in my head I'm thinking "WTF were we about to kiss!" we were so focesed on eachother we didn't hear the bell ring,anyways it was now time for our last class before lunch,were I know I'm going to have to face Peter,and talk about what just happened,but anyways I walk to science where,again Peter is also in,and Mj is not,and I go sit down next to Peter and as soon as I sit down Peter looks at and says "We need to talk about what just happenend" then I look back at him "At lunch,ok" then he looks back down", "Ok" he says "In the meanwhile lets just act like nothing happened,deal" I say "Deal" he says and so we go on with the class period like nothing happened prior,and as soon as the bell rings for lunch,and get my backpack and I see that Peter waited for me and after we walk out of the classroom and make our way to Ned and Brad,who are already seated and we sit down,but just as I am about ot sit down Peter pulls my arm and asks me "Can we talk now?" then I look at him and nod then look back at Ned and Brad and say "We'll be right back",and then Nede nods,and so Peter and I head to an empty classroom to talk "So,um we almost" Says Peter but I cut him off "Kissed yea,I know","Look,I like Mj and you know that soooo" "So we can just act like nothing happened,I'd like that very much" "Great! so no awkwardness between us?" says Peter "None at all" I say with a smile on my face "But,you have to buy me a #2 at the delly after school,so I canforgive you from earlier" I say to him as were walking out the door and he laughs "Fine,fine whatever,but you bring the candy tomorow" then I laugh and look at him "Boy,I always bring the candy,what you talking about " then he laugh and we walk back to the table to onluy find ned "Hey,Ned ,where's Brad?" I ask him,"Oh he went to go find you" "Oh ok"I say "So looks like you guys made up" say Ned "Yea we did,plus Peter now has to buy me a #2 after school" I say "Oh also tomorow night 6pm,Peters house for our moive night,Peter handles the popcorn,Ned snacks,ANd I'll handle the candy got it," "Oh he11 Yea movie nights back on,oh and can we watch Star Wars?" Asks Ned "Yess" says Peter while I say "WE always watch Star wars,why can't we watch something else" I say,then like little boys they go "Pleaseeeeeeeee,can we watch Star wars" then I roll my eyes while smiling "FINE!,just because I'm so nice" "Yayyyyyy" they say like little boys "You guys are litteral children" I say laughing at them "WAit guys this weekend can we go to the arcade like,the good old days"suggest Ned "OMG YESSS,lets go! we haven't gone since we were 10!" I say "That's a great idea Ned! I can pick you guys up at 8 am and we can play ther all day like when we were kids!" say Peter "YESSSS" Ned and I say at the exact same time "GReat so it's setteld movie night tomorow then Arcade all day on Saturday!" I say "YUP!" they both say at the same time,and then that'swhen Brad came walking in "Hey! y/n I was looking for you everywhere!" "Oh hey Brad! yea I was here basically the whole time" I say letting out a small laugh,ANd then The bell rang fir our last class of the day,and as we are walking Peter,Ned and I relize we all have the same History class,Brad however did not he had french,and so we all sat down next to eachother,and it was a pretty good class period,I mean for being history class,and we got a group project assiened and of course Peter,Ned,and I teamed up together,and while we are working I say " Hey Ned mind if I go to your place so we can work on this and then tomorow during lunch Peter can catch up?" "Yea sure y/n plus the quicker we finish this the less time on school" says Ned "Fine that's fair I go on my date while you guys work,so I'll give up one lunch" says Peter "That a boy" I say to Peter then the bell rang "So Ned I see you at 6pm?" I say "You got it y/n" he says to me and then we all walk out and then Ned see's his mom and says bye to Peter and I,and then I say "Sooooo delli time!!!!!" "Ugh I forgot about that" he says "WEll that's too bad because I've been craving my #2 ever since lunch" "fine let's go" he says "Yayy" I say laughing,and then just a minute into walking Brad comes up to us "Hey y/n want me to walk you home," and then he noticed Peter beside me "Oh hey Peter didn't see you there" Brad says,Peter justs nods to him "Oh uh that's really sweet Brad but actually I'm heading to the the delli because Peter here has to buy me my sandwhich" I say "Oh ok,uhI'll text you later then,bye" says Brad,"Bye brad" both Peter and I says and once brad leaves Peter turns to me and say "Soooo you and Brad?" "There is no me and Brad,I mean we shared a kiss but I don't think I'm ready for a relationship" I say "Oh wow a kiss!,and I think you deserve someone better then Brad" "Really?! why should I listen to you,since I have been saying tht about Mj this WHOLE time" "Fair enought" Peter says,and before we know it were at the delli.

We walk in and we are wellcomed by the store owner ,Mr.Delmar "Y/n! Peter! your regulars?" "You know it" I respond and while were waiting he asks Peter and I "Así que ustedes dos niños finalmente son juntos" {So you two kids finally together?} I just look Peter,knowing he inderstood what Mr.Delmar said,and just laugh and say "Jaja muy gracioso, es como si hubieras olvidado que el español es mi primer idioma, y ​​eso nunca sucederá. Peter es solo mi mejor amigo"{Haha very funny, it's like you've forgotten that Spanish is my first language, and that will never happen. Peter is just my best friend}
"Ha says the girl who is in spanish class'' says Mr.Delmar,and Peter just lets out a laugh ],then I look at him "Shut up","All right you sandwiches are ready,10$" says Mr.Delmar,then I just look at Peter "You heared him 10 dollars" then Mr.Delmar just laughs "uh oh what did he do this time" asks Mr.Delmar "His "girlfriend" called me a loser and he didn't defend me" "Oh snap for that he should also buy you gummy worms" suggest Mr.Delmar "Good idea Mr.Delmar" then I grab a pack a pack of gummy worms and set them down on the counter "Thanks Mr.Delmar,just because I feel bad I'll buy them for you" says Peter
then Peter pays for our sandwhiches and my gummy worms and as were walking out the door we both yell out "BYE MR.DELMAR!" "Bye kids stay safe" he responds,then we go to the park that's only a few blocks away to eat our sandwiches on a bench."So Peter,what are you taking Mj on your date?" I ask him "Oh well I was planning on a picnic at this parks around 6pm" and then I stop him "UR BAD IDEA<New York park when it starts getting dark?!<even thought I don't like Mj,you should take her nice like uh that nice resturant near your house,that italian one" "Your right y/n I will take her there" he says to me "Yea I know I'm right,it's kinds like my superpower" then Peter tries to steal one of my gummy worm but I quickly snatch the gummy worm form his hand and eat the gummy worm myself "That's also my superpower not letting people steal my food" I say smiling at him "Haha very funny,but can I least get one?" Peter asks me "hmmm let me think about it........no'' then he smirks at me "Fine be that way" then he starts tickling me knowing that's my weakness but I'm not giving up so easily so I clutch onto my bag of my gummy worms,and am laughing non stop and at this point half of my body is off of the bench so if peter where to stand up or drop me I would land straight on my back and low and behold Peter stops tickling me and stands up very quickly and I fall onto the floor straight on my back,and get the wind knocked out of me and I yell "WTF PETER!" and then I relized that Mj was walking towards him and by the time I get up on my own I see him talking with Mj not even egnoling me after litteraly dropping me on my back,,so I get up not saying goodbye to Peter and Mj,and I just head to Ned house.
