"Mom hurry up!" I said as I put on my coat.

"Hold up sweetheart!"She said.

Today was the day I got to see dad in 3 years. You see, when mom and dad divorced he made some really bad decisions.Selling cocaine and getting locked up multiple times.

He was put in prison when I was 8 years old.I could still remember hearing the police sirens and flashing blue and red lights reflecting out my window .The day he was taken from my life for 20 years.I never got to see him since .But today that was going to change.Once mom and I got in the car she took her soft hand and slowly stroked my hair and told me. 'Sweetheart I know since the divorce and your pop getting into this situation makes you very uncomfortable'.

'I know mom, I'm fine.'

As we drove down the block and onto the freeway I could almost feel my heart beating so fast it reminded me of a song mom would sing to me every night when I couldn't fall asleep.Afterwards dad would come and give me a big hug and a kiss on the forehead. It was a 20 minute drive up and down the freeway which made my stomach queasy.

Once we got there and I took a step outside I could smell the dirt and uncut grass."It's gonna be alright, He's my dad"I thought to myself As we mom got in and signed the papers the woman sitting at the front desk, the officer showed us the way to where dad was spending his 20 years of life living in.Mom never spoke to him.Nor mention him.She didn't want to speak to him forever.Which made me heartbroken.I was the girl among my friends whose parents weren't happy and together. It bothered me but I just let it slide. The officer let us take a seat as they called dad in.(mom went back the car) My hands sweat and my eyebrows twitched anxiously waiting there he was .... A man that have life to me.Came in and sat down .Tears filled his dark black eyes with his fur soft hair and curved shaped nose he said"Hey kiddo!" Right when he picked up the telephone.

Hey ".I said

"So how's mom doing?" He asked.

Pretty good" I said.

We talked for about 20 minutes then all of a sudden he asked me to do him a favor.

"Sweetie I needed to complete a task before I got locked up, can you finish it for me?But WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT open it.Don't try to open it either.

Do you still have it?"

Of course I do" I said

Dad gotten me a heart shaped locket when I got a star readers award in kindergarten so he congradulated but I never got a chance to break it open.

It was sealed tight.

Time was almost up so His last words were "Be good .I love you "

I Love you to" I said.

Right before he was going to hang up I stopped him.

"Anything wrong?"He said.

Why can't I open the locket?" I said

He said "Something that I should've done a long time ago." ...........

The next day, I sat there anxiously trying to open it.

I did whatever was possible but I found a screw driver in the upstairs drawer.

It opened! Finally, I opened it up nothing was there.

But I realized there was a latch almost invisible to the naked eye right beneath the back cover.

I pulled something out and there was an sd card.

Why would there be an sd card?

In my necklace? Maybe whatever was in the sd card was what my dad was relying on?

I decided to hand over the sd card to my friend Max who was a huge computer freak.

The next day at school

I asked him
