Nobody's POV
"It's officially begun! The 57th Recon Mission! Scouts, move out!"
The Scouts deployed from Calaneth District to go and retake Wall Maria and find out what's in the basement.
"FOWARD! Ride for all your worth!" Commander shouted.
Erwin signaled his left arm. "Long-range formation! Let's go!" He shouted with his left arm out.
Your POV
"See you around. Good luck!" Reiner said as he went behind.
"Do us a favor if you run into one of 'em and don't piss yourself." Jean said to both me and Armin.
"Yeah, same goes for you." Armin replied.
"Alright, I'm going. Stay safe Armin." He nodded with a smile as I went away from him.
I made sure to hang on to the extra horse tightly in my hand. I felt myself get tense more and more by the second.
It felt so empty.
Suddenly, I saw a red smoke signal from the spotters. I took out my signaling gun and switched it to red. I quickly put it up in the air and shot it.
At the corner of my eye, I see a Titan running after me. "Don't let it get to Flores!" I hear in the distance.
It was Cecilia.
She got moved to spotting for her skill. She was with another female soldier. Cecilia went for the Achilles' tendon and sliced it cleanly. The Titan fell forward.
"Nice cut, Cecilia!" I shout. The other soldier sliced its nape, finishing it off.
"Hey, Flores! The right-wing spotters have been nearly wiped out!" The soldier shouted.
A immense amount of fear rose in me.
"Go relay the message to your other comrades! We'll go to the other sections to pass it on!" She continued.
"Uhm— Yes Ma'am!" I panicked.
I turned in another direction and headed towards where Jean was since he was the closest near me in the formation. I looked around in panic looking for him, and saw him in the distance.
"Jean!" I shouted. He turned towards me with confusion.
"Flower girl? What are you doing here?" He asked me. I rode my horse next to him.
"Almost all of the right-wing spotters have been wiped out!" I explained.
"God Dammit! What the hell happened?" He questioned.
"I didn't have time to ask! But—" A Titan appeared out of the trees. "Titan!" I shout.
Jean flew towards it off his horse and I followed. "You go for the arms! I'll take the nape!" He shouted. I nodded as I flew to its side and slice its arms so that they wouldn't be able to move anymore. Jean finished it off and sliced its nape.
"Great job, Jean!" I said as I got on my horse.
In the distance, I saw Armin and Reiner. Armin took out his signaling gun but it probably didn't manage to work. I took out my signaling gun, switched it to gold, and shot it up in the air. Armin and Reiner looked back at us as I shot it.
"Looks like Flower Girl's got you covered." Reiner said.
I sigh in response as everyone has been calling me Flower Girl lately.
To our right, we saw about 4 to 5 gold smokes. "Oh man, that's not good. The right-wing spotters have suffered too many casualties to carry on." Reiner said. Jean and I went by their side.
