Beca's POV
" Jesse, do we really have to go see you're parents? I feel like I'm getting the flu and I can't keep any food down. Even the smell makes me go and worship the toilet.", I whined. I'd been feeling like this for about a week. I had no idea what was wrong.
Jesse and I both graduated from Barden university four years ago. A year after that we got married, yep I finally gave into his persistant flirting and finally went out with him. We had our hands full in college. Me in charge of the Bella's and him in charge of the Treble Makers. We were still competion and that ment no Acapella talk on date nights or any other night.
" Beca, they're looking forward to seeing us. We haven't even seen eachother in like....Two whole months.", Jesse gave me a sorry look.
" Can't we reschedule this stupid lunch? It's not like-", my cell phone started ringing. I looked down and the caller ID said ' Fat Amy '. I held up my finger to Jesse and answered the phone.
" Hey Amy", I greeted her.
" Beca! I can't believe I haven't called in like....A week. I miss you! My boyfriends keep me company but they aren't my sister.", She sighed. Loud music was playing in the backgroung along with many men voices.
" Um, amy, WHere are you?", I asked.
" Oh, nowhere....Alright since you are so nosey, I'm at a club down here in Tasmania. I'm still the best singer with teeth. Oh! I've also learned how to Unicorn Dance! Is't that amazing? I'm so talented.", she gloated into the phone. I chuckled, same old Amy.
" Beca, c'mon! We have to get going!", Jesse called from downstairs.
" Is that Jesse? You're still with him? I thought that wedding was a joke."
" Yes I'm still with him and no the wedding wasn't a joke. We're meeting his parents for lunch even though I can't stand the smell of food right now. He doesn't understand that I don't like throwing up. Apperently we can't cancel because he misses mommy and daddy.", I growled.
" Throwing up? It isn't the stress throw up like blondie is it? Don't need Staci making any more Barf Angels. Maybe you're preggo. Jesse fertilized your eggo....And left you preggo. You're baby can play with leggos. That's all the rhymes I got.", suddenly I dropped the phone. I realized I was late! I'd never been late before. I pick up the phone and give Amy a rushed goodbye. I run down the stairs and pull jesse out the door by his hands.
I deal with his parents and the smell of food for two hours. I make him stop at the drug store before we head home. I won't let him see inside the bag.
As soon as we get home I run upstairs and pee on the stick. I wait the ten minutes and take a deep breath before turning it over. I gasp, a pink plus sign, right in the middle of the stick. Jesse opens the door and sees what I'm holding. He carefully comes over and takes it from my hands.
" We're having a baby?", he asks. Excitement in his voice.
" No, we're having an Aca-baby...", I joke. He grins and pulls me into a tight hug. The next hour is filled with setting up doctors appointments and making out.
The next day we head to the doctor. When we finally get called back, I pee in a cup and get my blood pressure taken. They weigh me and finally bring out the ultrasound machine.
They put the gel on my stomach and wave the wand around in it. The image pops up on the screen. The baby looks like a little peanut. My little Aca-peanut. I finally grasp....I'M HAVING A BABY!
