Bridgette's POV
I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ear. I groaned while getting up. Today was the first day of my junior year, and I did not want to go...like at all, but I also wanted to see my friends, or the ones I have left. What drove me to eventually get out of bed was the fact I would finally see some of my friends that I didn't get to see over the summer, along with spending some quality time with my senior friends since this is their last year.

After I finished getting ready, I walked downstairs and started eating breakfast. I got a text from my friend, Courtney Barlow, and before I read the text, and I already knew what it was going to say. I just ignored it. I just want to have a few more minutes of peace before everyone at school attacks me. My phone vibrated again and saw it was a text from Zoey, someone who actually stood by me after what happened this summer. I opened her text and saw.

Did you hear? Duncan and Courtney are like...over...done for good -Zoey

That's the third time...this year. It's not going to last, they'll get back together in like...a month, two months...tops. I took a peak at the text from Courtney and it said something about her breakup with Duncan, rather than my breakup with Geoff. I saw her say something about meeting her being in the musical room, because she was upset about the breakup. I relaxed and got up, while walking out to my car.

Geoff's POV
I walked downstairs and saw my father past out on the couch with his bong in hand. I shook my head, and sighed...at least he's here. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast, or least wasn't in the mood for it here. I grabbed my things and saw an old family photo with my older brother Ryder, father, mother, and my four little brothers that I haven't seen in like...five years. I don't know why they left us, but all I know is that it broke my father, because all he does know is get high every night. The only reason we have so much money and live in such a big house is because my grandfather was really rich and we got his stuff after he died.

I glanced at my father and sighed. What he made me go through night was...insane. I came home after football practice and he was gone, I had to search the whole town, I called the cops and everything. Officer Nelson, our town's Chief of Police, ended up finding him. He was out at this bonfire place where this huge drug dealer, Reaper Bernard, goes to sell, shoot up, and smoke with other people. I heard he got arrested last night which is good, because I'm pretty sure he was my father's main guy for drugs and he might detox for once.

"Bye dad" I said knowing he wouldn't reply.

I grabbed my bags and keys, walked out the door, and to my car. I threw my stuff in the back and drove to school. I wasn't looking forward to school, because of how chaotic summer was. So much happened, so many couples broke up, I mean shit...my own girlfriend basically cheated on me at one of my parties. This year is going to be a huge mess. I started my car up and drove to school.
