Lekki&Minako

Part 2

Chapter 2

Minako

As I walk out of my house, I see both a boy and girl roughly around the same height. The boy is lanky and he has relatively short blond hair, with a black lightning-shaped streak on the left of his side hair. The girl is also very lanky, I would say just my height, with long black hair that goes down to her waist, and has the same lightning-shaped streak on the left side of her hair, but rather it's yellow, and they both share the same somewhat triangular golden yellow eyes, and a fair skin tone.

"Lekki, you ready?" I ask the girl as she gives me a slight nod, unlike Lekki, the boy replies,

"Oh yeah, man, I am pumped!"

"Shut up Sparky, it's nothing all that exciting, just keep out of my way," Katuski says as I roll my eyes. "Whatever, we will meet up with you guys at the entrance, hopefully, we will all be together."

"Whatever, you're all just stepping stones to my victory." We leave our houses and my mom drops me and Katsuki off at the school.

We walk in and take our seats near the middle top. Katsuki always refused to sit at the bottom of the movie theater because he liked to look down on everyone and for him to have the highest ground. The instructor, Present Mic, goes over the rules and assigns us to different groups. I'm in group A with Katsuki, Midoriya, and Lekki. There are some other names I don't recognize, like Tenya Iida, Ochako Uraraka, Mezo Shoji, and a ton of others. I wonder why Midoriya is even trying, he is nice and all, but he doesn't have a quirk but he doesn't stand a chance. I would try to help him out but it's just kinda useless, I mean why help someone who's just going to fail. We walk to the gates of the trial area and wait there for the judge to announce its go time before it's too late, I turn to Lekki and ask,

"You got enough electricity stored up, Lekki?"

"Oh uh, I think. I stored as much electricity as I could, but I didn't get all that much,"

"Okay, well just use it wisely, plus you can always take it from the bots. We will split up for the first half. I'll go left and you go right then we will meet up in the middle, got it?" She gives me a nod and then just looks up at the gates.

I hear the judge announce it's gone time and the big metal doors slowly open. I push my way through and make a sharp left before I'm even a block toward the middle, a three-point villain is looming over me. I smirk and I raise my hand, as I do the robot raises, and as I throw my arms down the robot falls and crashes, he's dead for sure. I run past him at full speed and end up getting a couple more two and three-pointers. About halfway through my journey to the middle I run into Katsuki and he shoves me down trying to get the three-pointers in front of us but I trip him and kill it before he can. I continue to run and pass a few other contestants until I finally meet up with Lekki.

Our meet-up spot has had some unwelcome guests, two three-pointers and three two-pointers. We look at each other and smile, it's time to pull out our secret move. She starts to conjure up most of her electricity she has left and shoots it at all 5 of the villains. I use my energy to precisely hit each one in their weak spot. As the villains crumble to the ground, Lekki runs over and touches all of them so she can get more electricity, although she is starting to look a little more drowsy and loopy, crap, she's getting into that stage. In a matter of seconds, a bigger problem arises, about a block down is a huge zero-pointer and what looks to be Midorryia facing it. Most of the students are running away but he's not. In the corner of my eye, I see a short girl with brown hair that I saw earlier in the course trapped under some rock. If I remember correctly, she can mess around with gravity.

I start spring towards her but before I get there Midoryia is about twenty feet up in the air getting ready to punch the thing. I stood there cold in my tracks in shock, I thought he didn't have a quirk. Quickly, my mind remembers the bigger problems, Gravity Girl. I run over to her and move the rock off her leg and free her. Soon, before I can help him up, I heard a voice,

"Minako!" I look behind me to see Lekki yelling at me and pointing up. I look up and Midoriya is falling straight down while flailing his legs and right arm. I attempt to guess where he will land and crouch down and use my powers to make a sort of energy net to catch him. I close my eyes and hope my calculations were right, I don't have to worry about that for long because seconds later, I hear a smack and turn to see Gravity Girl making both him and herself float, then safely drops both. I take a quick moment to look and come to realize that both his legs and right arm are broken, and right as he hit the ground, Present Mic yelled that time was up. I walk back over to Lekki as I see an extremely short, old lady walk over to Midoriya and asks,

"Is anyone else hurt?" We all shake our heads as she goes over to Midoriya and gives him a big kiss on the head.

"What is she doing?" Lekki, who's not looking so loopy and unaware, asks, as I reply,

"Don't you know who that is? She's Recovery Girl, she is the nurse at UA," I point to Recovery Girl to see Midoriya's legs slowly getting fixed as well as his arm.

"Wow, that's pretty cool. Strange though, it's almost as if his body wasn't prepared to handle his quirk. Although, I think he has a bigger issue," I look at her in confusion as she replies, "Present Mic just announced time was up, and that was a zero-pointer. So, based on the fact he was behind me for a quite long period of time, I don't think that he got any points, so I think he might have just failed." I realize what she was saying was right as we both look back at him and Gravity Girl. Was that true, did he really just fail, even considering he took down that zero-pointer?
