Elize and Elijah reached school when they saw Cassie running towards them. Elize opened her arms and caught Cassie into a hug. Elijah took this as his cue to leave. It's not like he hates Cassie it's just that he doesn't likes being around his sister when they are at school.

Elijah was a different person when in school, no one knows that Elize is his sister. They both never told about being each other's twin to anyone, well except Cassie and Jay. They both thought that people would figure out that they are twins but being in different classes for the past years helped them and let's just admit that the students are quite dumb.

Elijah went towards Jay and his group of just friends. The only person who is his true/best friend is Jay. Jay knows about Elize being his sister, and he knows about their parents but unlike the kids at his old school, Jay didn't make fun of him, he assured Elijah that everything will be fine. Though Jay doesn't know everything about Elijah's life, he never pushed Elijah to tell him things he didn't want to share.

Elijah and Jay are known as the arrogant rich spoilt brats of this school, but this is not completely true, especially the rich and spoilt part in Elijah's case. Elijah was named as the bad boy of the school with Jay as his partner in crime.

The bell rang, and Elijah along with Jay went to the office to collect their schedule. While going to the office, he turned around to see if he could catch a glimpse of Elize. He turned back when he found no Elize and guessed that she already went to her class with Cassie.

When they reached the office and compared their schedule. he was surprised that he and Jay were in the exactly same classes. He was happy that at least for the last year if high school he and Jay were together.

They quickly went to their first class, and they were shocked to see that Elize and Cassie were in the same class as them. Elijah had a confused reaction while Jay had a small smile playing on his lips, about which Elijah didn't bother to question about.

Elize was busy describing her not so cool summer to Cassie but she noticed Cassie's lack of attention,
"Hey, what's wrong?" Elize asked with a gentle tone.
"It's just that I am just a little gloomy and nothing else." Cassie answers in a low tone.

Even though Elize knew that Cassie was hiding something, she let her off the hook for the time being. After all she knew that even she was hiding her biggest secret from Cassie

Elize turned around and to say that she was surprised was an understatement. She hurriedly told Cassie to turn around, and she was invited with the sight of Elijah and Jay sitting in the last row. By Elijah's expression Elize could tell that he wasn't happy with them being in the same class.

Elijah had his own reason not wanting to be the same class with his twin, its that, now there are more chances of their classmates figuring out that they are blood- related twin siblings which he certainly didn't want.

Jay, he somewhat understood the situation of his best friend.

You can call it 'twin telepathy', at that moment Elijah and Elize were praying the same thing -- that their secret remains safe like it has always been.
