Y/n in the maze runner

Part 1: life in the glade

You lay awake staring at the ceiling as your hammock rocks from side to side as the gentle breeze touches your face. You pull yourself up and head to the wall, marking off 3 years 1 day in the maze. You grab your wooden brush and tie your hair out of your face, trying to make yourself as presentable as possible as you are the only girl in the maze but it's quite hard to do that when the only thing close to makeup you have is red berries for lipstick. stepping outside, you look around to see all the boys working hard preparing for tonight, you walk over to newt as he picks the berries and puts them in his basket.
Newt: "Hey there y/n"
"Hey newt" You shout back.
you and newt are best friends and have been since the first day he came up, youve been through everything together and tell each other everything. You've always seem to get along really well, but no more than a couple of best friends would do.
Newt: "Here" as he chucks you a red berry,
"for your lips there looking a bit patchy today"
"haha very funny" you say as you throw the Berry back at him.
As you go to throw another berry at him gally walks over and leans in front of you blocking your view of newt.
gally: "You gonna throw one of these again y/n ?" He says looking deeply into your eyes.
"No gally why would I ever do that" you say laughing, gally: "very funny y/n get back to work before I regret asking you to dance tonight".
Gally has always had abit of a crush on you ever since you came up but you don't seem to know why.
minho: "Cmon shank it's running time"
Minho shouts to you as he waits at the maze walls, you run over to him shouting bye to newt as he waves to you.
"Your always with newt shank, what's the deal?" Minho questions laughing.
"He's my best friend" you say to Minho trying to convince him he's just that.
"Thought I was you best friend shank?" Minho asks slightly hitting me in the shoulder
"You are Minho you both are" you say giggling.
You and Minho are best friends as well  but it's different to you and newt, you and Minho are like brother and sister,you and newt are something else, but you don't know what.
