{ this is a remake or my sequel to 50 Shades of Grey. All the characters you know will be in there but things will be different. i hope you enjoy... }
I was just an average teenage girl. But that's only what you see on the outside, isn't it? It's funny how the night seems to change. And it all starts with the head of many of our businesses here in Seattle. Mr. Christian Grey. Handsome, smart, cunning, strong..... dominant....
It was about two years back when everyone heard the news. The famous Christian and Anastasia couple.... had ended. At first he was devastated with grief. But as you know, time heals all wounds.... well almost all of them. My brother works for the newspaper and he has me doing this ludicrous assignment cause his precious money seeking whore got into an accident. I'm basically talking about his girlfriend but she is nothing but a complete and utter-
"Sis, you ready to go?" my brother, Joe, asked ending my train of thought.
"Joe.... I'm in a tight skirt with a white button up blouse. I have been doing my hair for the past hour and a half and its finally straight. The last thing i need is you up my God damn-" i was ranting but i was cut off by my mother.
"Louise Ann Mariette!" my mother shouted. Oh God... She is mad.... I almost cursed. I curse all the time.... when I'm not home. It's my Senior year at the local high school and my eighteenth birthday is still so far away. Towards summer actually. It's the first weekend of the year and my brother is having me go to interview Mr. Grey so he can go fetch his barbie.
"I hate you." i said to my brother as i passed him. I'm the school paper editor so I know exactly what i have to do. I grab my brother's recorder and a list of questions he wants to know before he hands me a professional looking jacket. I huff and get into the passenger side of his car. He got in and gave me a sheepish smile.
After a while, he speaks. "I'm sorry Lou but you have to do this for me. My entire career is running on this interview." he said. Suddenly, I'm nauseous.
"Maybe, instead of running of to Miss-" i start but he cuts me off... as usual.
"Don't even start. She has tried to win your attention and get you to like her but it's not working. She-" this time i cut him off.
"SHE'S MAKING YOU BUY THE THINGS FOR ME BECAUSE SHE'S AN ATTENTION SEEKING THOT!" i shout just as we pull up. He stops short at my words and instead of staying to listen to him i swing my door open and slam it shut behind me. Why am i still doing this? I should let him loose his job.
"Lou-" he said as he got out the car. I gave him the finger without turning around. I kept walking. I wouldn't do that to him. He loves his job and its his way of helping with the bills. I sigh and walk into the building. I stopped at a desk were a very pretty blonde stares at me in shock. I look at her confused. My long black hair cascaded down my back in straight perfection and my posture was perfect. Was it because i was not a blonde cause that's all that's here. Blonde's here, blonde's there.
"I'm Miss Louise Mariette. I'm filling in for Mr. Mariette." i said softly. The secretary looks at her intern.
"He's not going to like this...." the intern whispers. By now, with all the staring and whispering, and the incident with my brother, I'm beyond royally pissed.
"Ok, I'm not going to repeat myself and i sure as hell don't want to explain to the Seattle newspaper why my brother didn't get an interview to see Mr. Grey so you have approximately 20 seconds to figure shit out or i walk out and you get a message from the Seattle newspaper. Your choice." i said as i looked at my wrist watch. The blonde nods and rings Mr. Grey.
"Mr. Grey, the interviewer is here to see you." she mumbled weakly.
"Is everything alright?" a deep voice asked. I tapped the watch and began to turn around.
