They put the gentle creature into a cage and left it,
Left it with the most savage creatures to roam the globe,
Left it to starve, to unsuccessfully defend its small self.
For the despairing an' tortuous time it was locked away,
It never left the absolute blackness of the smallest cavern,
In paralyzed fear that the savages would conceive no mercy on her.
So in it's cave it was curled
To preserve the li'l heat produced,
Try to survive.
But it was fruitless for while in it's sleep
The dark angel came upon it to steal it's spirit, dropping it in the fiery abyss of hell.
