Zack King POV
Hi! Ladies. Zack King here. If you don't know who I am, you must have been living under a rock. I am the hottest, richest, most popular and sexiest guy at school. All the girls fall for me and I am the captain of the football and basket ball teams. All girls except Persephone Jackson.
She has luscious black hair which falls to her waist. Tan skin which is real and the most mesmerizing sea green eyes. She is the captain of the school swim team. She is the hottest girl at school. And since I am the hottest guy, the both of us should be dating, right? But no. Every time I ask her out she says she has a boyfriend. I tell everyone that I am a son of Poseidon but she is the only one who doesn't believe me.
We were in Greek and Roman class. Mrs. Micos was teaching us about Apollo, who was a God. He is most probably a minor God. I tried to ask Percy out (everyone calls her that, if someone calls her real name they get a broken nose) again but she rejected me. Then I tried my new trick and told her I was a son of Poseidon. Everyone was looking at me awe even the teacher but Percy just ignored me.
Then suddenly a phone rang. In this class, if a phone rang we had to take the call in speaker phone. I looked around and saw it was Percy's phone. Great! Now I can learn more about her. She looked at the contact and paled. The teacher asked her to put the call in speaker. She answered the call. " Hey! G-man." She said. What kind of name was G-man. "Oh! Thant the gods you answered Perce. I need you to come to central park right now. There is an attack here and we won't be able to hold them off. You are the only one who can reach here fast enough since Nico is currently off doing a job." Wait what? Is she a demigod? She can't possibly be one. "Oh skata! Try to hold them off. I am coming." She replied and ended the call.
"Excuse me miss but I have to take care of a few monsters." She told our teacher who had a shocked look on her face much like the rest of the us. She suddenly disappeared from her spot. All of us were looking around the class confused. "Do you think she is a demigod?" One of the nerds asked. We all started talking about what happened when someone suddenly stood up. "Hey! Guys look. Is that Percy fighting the monsters?" She asked while showing her phone. In it was a LIVE video of Percy fighting monsters left and right with a real mini hurricane around her. After all the monsters were killed we saw her heal a little boy who was wounded. Then, suddenly she was back in class. We all just looked at her in shock. She took her bag and then faced us, "Bye guys! I have some damage control to do and I will most probably not come back tomorrow. Oh! and by the way, Zack, you are not a son of Poseidon and I know this because I am a daughter of Poseidon. Goodbye." She said and disappeared. After that, everyone was making fun of me since my lie was revealed.
So the lesson I learned was to never say that I am someone I am not. That person might be right next to you and then you will just get made fun off.
