This is a novel I wrote to raise awareness about the reality of abusive relationships. Yes, we're in 2021 and abusive behaviours are still part of way too many people's lives. It's not only adults that have to go through this, many teens do too. In fact, according to redcross.ca, about 1 in 11 teens report having experienced physical dating violence each year in the U.S., not mentioning the ones that have experienced psychological violence. I think it's time that the world acknowledges the severity of this problem and that's exactly why I wrote this short novel.
