Just like every week day morning, Charlie was taking a stroll to the bus stop. Working in a tea shop was nice, the downside was just that it was half an hour away from her apartement.

The bus station was empty as usual, since most people were already off to work or school.

She checked her watch. 9:15.

The bus should already be here.

A cough signaled the presence of a boy with messy blonde hair and black sunglasses, completely dressed in black. A cigarette was hanging in his fingers.

She looked at him in acknowledgement, only for the boy to take another wiff from his cigarette.

The bus arrived with a screetch, making Charlie swing her bag over her shoulder again.

As always, the bus was pretty much empty. She took a seat by the window, because she liked looking outside.

The boy who was completely dressed in black had thrown his cigarette on the floor, stepped on it a couple of times, and had taken a seat opposite from Charlie.

"Hey sweets." The boy smirked.

Charlie nodded her head.

"So what's Charlotte Lee doing on a bus?"

"How do you know my name?" Charlie questioned with a frown.

Even though she was quite known around town by now, she wasn't used to people actually regognising her and attempting to make conversation.

"I know a lot more about you than just your name." The guy smiled, biting his lip.

Now he was just coming off as creepy.

"Like what?" She asked suspiciously.

"You know what I'm talking about, love." He said, going with his hand through his already messy hair.

"Actually I don't." Charlie insisted.

"That's a shame." The boy whispered.

Charlie frowned her eyebrows, and tried to give the guy an intimidating look but it didn't seem to work.

"Then who are you?" She asked.

The man turned his head to the side ever so slightly, putting in his earphones, as if a sign that the conversation was over.

"Then who are you?" Charlie repeated.

But he didn't answer.

"Can I take your order?" Charlie asked politely to her new customer.

"A green tea, please." The older woman ordered.

Charlie prepared the womans tea, then handed the hot beverage to her for some money in return.

"Charlie!" Another customer shouted while entering the shop, causing everyone to look at him.

It was Alfie.

"Guess what happened?" He asked, as Charlie took off her aprint.

"You got stuck in an elevator again, so you had to call the fireman to come and rescue you?"

"What, no, that happened again like a week ago." Alfie chuckled.

"You went to the zoo with Louise and Darcy and that scary gorilla screamed at you."

"Thanks for bringing up my worst nighmare." He pouted.

"Well, I'm not going to ever guess this anyway, so just tell me." Charlie sighted.

"Marcus is throwing a party Friday tonight." Alfie announced.

"Really?! That's awesome!" She cried enthusiastically.

She had the ever so slightest crush on him.

"Yeah, you've only been stalking him for 2 years." He smiled.

Maybe it was a little bigger crush. But nothing to worry about.

"Remember that time that you called him 50 times after he gave you his number, just to hear him talk in his voicemail? Or that time you got so wasted, you started making out with a goat because you thought it was Marcus?"

Yeah, nothing at all to worry about.

"We still don't know how that goat got there, though." Alfie frowned.

"Well, then I'm going to be at my best tomorrow." Charlie smiled.

"You better be." He chuckled. "Are you finally going to make a move?"

"What?! No! That's crazy. I can't you know... I'll freak out." She freaked.

"Come on, Charlie, you are going to have to tell him at some point." He encouraged.

"What if he doesn't like me?" Charlie shook her head.

"Of course he likes you!" Alfie said, grabbing onto Charlie's shoulders.

Charlie wasn't able to say anything. She wanted to, but the words just didn't come.

"He told me that he might like you. Tommorow night is your lucky night." He smiled.

Charlie's mouth had fallen open.

"I think you should get ready for your shift in 5 seconds." Alfie patted her shoulder.

She slowly nodded her head in agreement.

With a wave, Alfie left the tea shop.

This was great. There was an ever so slightest chance that Marcus might like her. She had been waiting for this day so long, she coudn't mess this up. Just 4 days from now, she could finally make a move.

She put on her aprint again, struggling with the knot at her neck.

Suddenly, someone grabbed her hands and put them to Charlies sides, only to tie the knot themself. A hot breath tickled her skin, as this persons lips were incredibly close to her neck.

"There you go, love."

Charlie turned around only to be met with the same sea blue eyes like the boy on the bus today.

"Thank you." She whispered with a small smile.

"No problem, Charlotte." The boy said with a smirk.

"It's Charlie, acually." She said as she made her way behind the counter.

"My bad." The boy said as he folded his arms.

"What's your name?" Charlie asked.

"I'd like a ginger tea, please."

"What's your name?" She repeated with a frown.

"A ginger tea, please."

For a moment, Charlie kept her glance on him.

"Fine." Charlie whispered under her breath.

So she prepared his tea, and handed it to him when it was done.

"Thanks, Lee." He smirked.

Biting his lips, the mysterious boy left the tea shop.
