What just happened?!?!

I woke up that morning with a start.I had had a night mare about a weird hybreed I don't even know what it was.

After I woke up,I decided to go walk my dog,buttercup , her name is weird because I named her after the first thing I saw.

As soon as I walked outside, I knew something was wrong. "OH CRAP"I said remembering that their was a thunder storm warning.I actually liked storms because they made me feel relaxed,but buttercup HATED storms.

I was soaked when I walked in,big mistake.I tried to sneak to my room,but I wasn't quick enough."KATHERINE CARTER" screamed my mom.

Dang it so close,yet so far away."YA MOM" I screamed back.

"COME HERE RIGHT NOW OR ELSE",said my mom,"I NEED TO TALK TO YOU BUT CHANGE INTO SOME DRY CLOTHES."Ugggghhh I though she just told me to come over there,whatever though.

I threw on some clothes and then ran back to my mom"Ya so what do you want mom" I said.

"I think it's time to tel-",but she didn't get time to finish because a horse with wings crashed through the roof of the ceiling. I just stared wide mouth open at the creature"WA wa what the" I sputterd. My mom was super calm then she said ,still very calm let me remind you," Well hi Goldenmoon I would've been a lot nicer if you didn't ruin the ceiling but since you are here,Katherine this is golenmoon she is a Pegasus and your transportation to camp."

I said totally freaked out" WHAT, what camp?" As I re looked the Pegasus over it was beautiful with a golden mane and tail the color of fresh cleaned gold and a snow colored coat.

"well sweetie,you are a demigod, a child of a god and a mortal, if your wondering I can't tell you who your father is though so golden will take to camp half blood for childern like you." my mom said

"but mom I wanna stay-" but before I could complain I was thrown on Goldenmoon's back and I was off.
