Chapter 16 Hide ya kids, Hide ya wives

When I woke up, I was in a dank, dark room.

When I sat up, I had a throbbing pain in my head. I ignored it and tried to remember what had happened.

The last thing I remember is being dragged out of my cabin with Leo.

LEO!

I looked around the room in a panic, my eyes adjusting to the darkness. In the opposite corner, I saw someone curled up on the floor, probably unconscious.

I crawled over there, and to my relief, it was Leo.

I could hear him muttering, "No.. wake up.. Wake up."

I nudged him. "Leo. Leo, wake up."

He woke up suddenly, with what looked like tears in his eyes. I couldn't tell in the darkness.

He hugged me tightly.

"I had a nightmare. You were dying in my arms." His voice was small.

"It's okay. I'm here now. You'll never lose me." I said, soothing him.

"Where are we, anyways?" He said, looking around the room.

"I have no idea. The last thing I remember is being dragged off my bunk."

"What do we do then? Play Hide and Seek? It'd be kind of hard in a room like this." Leo said. His genius was showing.

Then we heard a loud rumbling sound, and rubble came raining down on us.
