Danielle got back to her house, opened the door and stormed up to her bedroom, "DANIELLE ATKINSON, WHERE THE ACTUAL FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN." her mother screamed up the stairs, her mother wasn't mad...okay she was but she was more disappointed in her daughter. "I DON'T WANT TO TALK MAM." Danielle replied, they were screaming back and forth the sound felt like it could make you go deaf. The door opened, "Will you two ever shut your fat gobs." he said, "Oh my god, CHARLIE!" Danielle said. Charlie was her brother, black curly hair and grey eyes, he looked like his sister, he'd been away with his 'mates' for six months, the house has been so dull since, "So Danielle, you gonna keep me waiting?" Louisa looked at him and tried to hug him, "oh how its so goo-" she said, Charlie pushed her away. Charlie and Lousia never got along, they always fought about Danielle's dad and stupid things. "Waiting for what?" Danielle asked, "What's been going on?" Charlie didn't realise he was in for a big ride, there was so much to tell, so much to lie about, so much to make excuses about. They both went upstairs and sat on Danielle's bed, Danielle proceeded to tell him, everything. Charlie actually listened, not only that, he gave advice. The last person Danielle wanted to talk about was Hailey, but she went for it, "I met this girl, you know the one i glare at everyday at the bus-stop." Danielle giggled, "Oh yes, i know the one." Charlie laughed with her. "I introduced myself to her after I dropped out Mr Evans class, i told her what i'd love to see, she took me to this beautiful place, just like i imagined, she took me to her tree house and we slept there, i had an arguement with her, about how she wanted me for company, because she had noone else...and here i am.." Danielle tried not to give it so much detail, but she couldn't help it, the memories flooded in and she started talking about Hailey with so much thought. "You really love this girl , don't you?" Charlie told her. "I think i do." Danielle nodded. Charlie told her that is was going to be okay, that she should go see Hailey, he held tight to her and told her she wasn't alone.
Hailey meanwhile, was sat in her tree-house thinking what she ever did wrong, did she say something, did she pressure her? Hailey tried to move on but all she could do is sit on her bed and write away her thoughts into her diary, her wishes and dreams filled up the diary quickly until the last drop of ink, vanished. She thought of Danielle's words, 'All, for nothing at all..' those words were powerful, not in anybody's perspective, only Hailey's. Hailey had a ladder hidden behind a towel in her tree house, there was a trap door above it, it led to the roof of the tree house, she looked up into the sky and saw the stars, there something beautiful. But something felt off, that night was windy and cold, and it made the treehouse wobble.
Danielle woke up the next day, her mother not screaming up the stairs, Danielle just got ready for school, this time her uniform didn't itch her back. Danielle was happy. "Hey honey." Lousia said, "Hey mam." Danielle replied, she only did so because she was happy, happy because she was going to see Hailey, apoligise and make sure she was happy. -POP- the toast was ready, this time Danielle made two pieces, one for Hailey and one for her, Hailey always said she loved the taste of rasberry jam, she said it was sweet, so Danielle spread some on for her and put the toast in a plastic container. "Bye mam, bye Charlie!" she shouted upstairs, as per usual they were both arguing.
Danielle got to the bus-top ten minutes later, she tried to find Hailey. But she wasn't there.
