Astronomy tower

The time for dinner arrived, so I collected my belongings from the room of requirement and left to replace it with the warm and welcoming great hall. As I went inside I saw my friends sitting at the slytherin table.

They all greeted me with a smile and Enzo patted the empty seat next to him. He was saving it for me. I truly don't deserve him.

"So where did you disappear after charms?" He queried as I sat down and he swung his arm around me. Okay Claire, time to come up with an excuse. Luckily, I've been doing it my whole life so it would be easy.

"I felt ill, so I went back to the common room." Please buy it, please buy it...

"Oh, are you feeling better now darling?" Phew, that went well.

"Yeah, I do." I replied.

"Good, because we were hoping you would join us at the astronomy tower after dinner." Blaise requested.

"Oh, definetely! Anything beats studying for defense against the dark arts in a dark and lonely library." I accepted.

"Great! I'll bring some muggle herb so that we can use it up before they do a dorm sweep." Enzo said, excitement in his voice.

He was so adorable. I had to make our relationship public as soon as possible or else I would burst. I tried to let him know by giving him a smile and slightly nudging my head in their direction, indicating that I'm ready to announce our relationship. He quickly got the memo.

"Okay so, may I have your attention please." He started, catching our friends' attention.

"Claire and I have something to tell you."

"Enzo and I are together." I cut him off before he could tell them before me. He jokingly shot me an offended look as I turned to our friends.

Onyx was sqealing and trying not to jump from her seat. I could tell she knew it was going to happen eventually. Blaise was confused at first, but excited for us nonetheless. Lucille was sqealing almost as much as Nyx and even stood up to hug me.

We started eating, and Lucille was piling food on her plate like she hasn't eaten in ages. She ate plenty at breakfast so the only thing that could possibly cause that kind of hunger is... Oh. So that's why Draco was so pissed off earlier.

I decided to ignore it for the time being. We all ate and headed off to the astronomy tower. Well, everyone except Lucille seeing as she was too tired to even speak properly.

Exhausted and panting from walking up numerous flights of stairs, we collapsed to the floor and sat in a circle. I was enjoying myself until I saw Pansy reaching the top of the tower.

"Ew, what's pugface doing here?" Nyx exclaimed from her spot.

Pansy just shot her a rude look and sat in between Blaise and Enzo. Her seating choice resulted in Onyx scooching closer to Blaise and grabbing his arm. I was sat next to Enzo, my head on his shoulder and his arm around me. And that leaves Malfoy, who was sat in between Onyx and me.

In the middle of the circle stood firewhiskey and muggle herb. We all poured a few shots and downed them almost immediately.

"Want to play truth or dare?" My intoxicated mind suggested.

After a mix of nods and agreeing sounds we started playing.

"I'll start." Lorenzo decided. "Blaise, truth or dare?"

"Dare, I'm no coward."

"Alright then... I dare you to kiss Parkinson."

I looked over at Onyx, who had pure rage in her eyes, looking at Lorenzo. I shot him a look too, and he looked at me, completely oblivious. Merlin, boys can be stupid sometimes.

Blaise hesitantly turned to the side that Pansy was on and kissed her. Onyx scooched away at this and looked at me. We always had these telepathic conversations. And in our minds we were talking trash about Blaise at an unimaginable speed.

They finally pulled away and Blaise continued the game right away, trying to avoid an awkward silence.

"Okay um... Claire." Blaise nodded his head at me. "Truth or dare?"

"I'll do truth." I concluded, to Enzo's relief. I don't think kissing someone who isn't my boyfriend would be a good start to a new relationship.

"Wimp, but alright. Pray tell, why are you and Draco staring at each other like you're plotting each other's murders?"

I rolled my eyes at him and put my mind to work. I hate lying to my friends. Maybe I don't have to. I'll just leave a few things out.

"Well, we sort of, maybe... dueled each other super quick." I blurted out, trying not to make a big deal out of it. Everyone looked at us with shocked expressions.

"You hurt her?" Lorenzo raised his voice at Draco, jumping to his feet.

"Enzo, it's okay. Snape stopped us before he could cast any spell at me."

"Yeah but, should Snape not have been there, he would have!"

"Calm down Lorenzo, this bitch sent me flying across the--."

He didn't get to finish that sentence. Lorenzo sped towards him and punched him in the jaw. Malfoy stumbled back and after regaining his balance, he threw another punch at Lorenzo. Enough is enough. I pulled out my wand and aimed it at Draco.

"Merlin, just stop! You both need to stop acting like bloody idiots!" My voice broke at the last words seeing as I practically screamed.

They both backed off and Nyx and I suggested we go back to our dormitories to try and get some sleep. The walk back was really quiet and awkward, with Draco and Enzo giving each other glares the entire time.

When we got to the point where we would go our separate ways, Enzo grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.

"Would you like to spend tonight in my dorm?" He asked as a smile crept up on my face.

"I don't see a reason why not." I answered as he led me towards the room him and Blaise shared, though Blaise wasn't there. My guess was he was off trying to aplogize to Onyx. Good luck with that.

After we entered the dormitory, Enzo pulled out one of his t-shirts and threw it my way. I caught it and made my way to his bathroom to change. After I put it on I exited the bathroom, and his eyes fell on me. I could tell he was happy to see me in his clothes.

He layed down on his back and I followed suit. I layed down next to him with my head on his chest and his arm around me. I was happy. Truly happy like I haven't been in a while.

The sunlight hit my face, waking me up. I finally got a good nights sleep which I haven't gotten in ages. I turn around to reveal my boyfirend, Lorenzo Berkshire.

His hair was messy, and his arm was still around me. He was still asleep. And he looked adorable. I looked over at the clock on his nightstand and realized that it was 7am.

Shit. I have to meet Draco in fifteen minutes to go work on the cabinet. I slowly got up from the bed and tried not to wake Enzo. He remained asleep. I got ready in his bathroom and cautiously snuck out of his dormitory.
