Feeling a brisk of wind flow by him, Kyle opened his eyes to find himself standing near a food table wearing a white button up with black dress pants. He looked around to realize he was at an event, but not just a simple event, he was at prom. Why am I underdress? Kyle thought to himself before walking around to look for a specific person.

Walking through the crowd of people was a challenge to say the least. All he wanted to do was to find Stan and probably leave already. He wasn't big on parties at all, he preferred to stay home and spend time with Stan. He frowned when he realized he couldn't find the noriette.

Kyle would've started asking around if it wasn't for some anxiety coming around and stopping him to ask anyone. He tried to brush it off as his mind was just messing with him. He looked around still desperately trying to find Stan, he knew better that Stan wouldn't leave him alone in such a big event. Even if Kyle was strong and perfectly capable to take care of himself, he still wishes for Stan to stay by his side.

He didn't really realize this, but everyone's faces were blurry, he once realized this when someone tapped his shoulder. He turned around and couldn't seem to recall who this person was, his eyes widened when he realized that it was the same for everyone in the room. Kyle looked at the person confused and said, "Um, hi..?"

The blurred out person simply pointed in a direction and Kyle's eyes followed.

His heart felt like it was being torn out with such a huge force, his head started to hurt, and his stomach started to turn in pain. The sight he was seeing was his worst nightmare of all time, he thought Stan was finally over her, he thought that Stan was never going back to her ever again. However, he was clearly wrong when he saw Stan and Wendy dancing very close together. Stan's hands are placed firm yet gently at her waist, while Wendy has her arms over his shoulders. Kyle yet again, couldn't see Wendy's face, but he knew it was her, he just knew it.

He was able to see Stan's face very clearly however. Stan had the biggest smile on his face ever, the one he had before he started drinking, the one before his tenth birthday, the one where he was actually happy. He felt like he hasn't seen that smile for the longest time now. He seemed generally happy with Wendy, which Kyle started to tear up about. Kyle knew he was a shitty friend in the past, but he has tried to fix it ever since sixth grade when he saw Stan crying in the restroom. Kyle knew he had to fix his mistake and try to help Stan. Which is what he has been doing since, Kyle even realized his feelings for his best friend.

Kyle suddenly felt another breeze of wind come around and everyone disappeared. His eyes closed again trying to keep himself sane.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Waking up in a tangle of blankets, Kyle's eyes were filled with tears. Kyle never really realized that even if he spends all his time with Stan, that it can all go away at the speed of light. He knew that life was short and that every moment should be cherished. However, he never really listened to that advice all the adults in his life gave him.

Kyle looked to his right and saw a sleeping Stanley Marsh. He turned over to get a better view of his boyfriend. Stan was sleeping on his back and slightly snoring. Kyle decided to cuddle with the black haired boy. He quietly and calmly, without waking up the sleeping boy, moved his body to be closer to Stan. Kyle put his arm around Stan's stomach and sighed. Kyle tried to get sleep, but he couldn't, he just kept staring at Stan.

Time went by, and the redhead has yet to fall asleep. He had been daydreaming while playing with Stan's hair, he didn't even know how much time went by until he felt Stan starting to stir awake. He looked at the window and noticed the sun was already up. He frowned at the fact he lost sleep, but he grew happy when he felt Stan staring at him. He looked down to see Stan with that oh-so-famous smile. Kyle suddenly remembered the dream and remembered the smile Stan gave to Wendy. He felt sad, but then he remembered he had seen that smile, he sees it every morning at the bus stop, during class when Stan is distracting Kyle, and when Stan is just around Kyle, that smile will show.

Kyle felt bad for having that dream, so he looked at Stan, leaned down to Stan's forehead, and gave a small but yet very loving kiss. He knew that he shouldn't take the time with Stan so lightly, because he can easily lose him any day.

Stan smiled at the morning kiss and grabbed Kyle's hand and placed a kiss on it. Kyle smiled and giggled at his lover, he knew he wasn't going to lose him, but Kyle can never be too safe. He decided he was going to love Stanley Marsh everyday like he's going to lose him.

"I love you so much," Kyle says while staring into Stan's rhinestone eyes. They sparkled brighter everyday is something Kyle has noticed. He loved those blue eyes a lot, but he loved the person with those eyes even more.

"I love you too, Ky," Stan responds while sitting up. Kyle grabbed the shorter boy's hand and just held onto it. Stan didn't question it at all, instead he held the redhead's hand tightly. He smiles at the interlocked hands and looks up to admire his lover.

They both knew then and there that they never wanted to lose each other. Even if they knew that, they got reassurance that the feeling was mutual among each other. They made a silent oath to each other that every moment was going to be cherished like it was the last day on earth.
