Sunday quickly passed by. Jimin said he was busy, so I understood why he hadn't had time to message, call or even visit me that day.

Luckily, Hoseok saw that I was alone so he went over at my house with popcorn and some DVD's. I told him that we can watch a movie on my netflix account that Jimin shared with me, but what he wanted to watch weren't available there.

It was great and he was really fun to be with. He admitted that he always wanted to join me and Jimin whenever we have a movie nights and I told him that he's invited anytime.

I like his presence honestly. He takes everything light and fun.

Monday and Tuesday went by just as quick. I haven't heard from Jimin.

I thought he was going to pick me up from my house but ten minutes before the class start he never showed up or even call. I started commuting to school that day.

I messaged him in any way I can. But he's really busy.

We barely see each other in school as well. He never had lunch at the cafeteria, he was always on the phone whenever I see him at the hallways, stopping me from calling his name.

Whenever it was time to go home, I always spot him quickly making his way to his car and driving off.

It was making me feel sad. And I felt like we're drifting apart because of how busy he was. I don't want to sound needy or desperate. Believe me, I understand his situation. But I just can't help but think that the both of us would get used to this—where we don't need each others presence anymore.

"What's with the long face, babe?"

I rolled my eyes when I saw Niyoung making her way to my desk. She laughed hysterically at my reaction.

I'm not used to hearing other people calling me with that endearment that Jimin like to use. I felt like only Jimin is allowed to call me with every names and endearments that he could ever come up with. When others do that, is just insulting.

"It's lunch time. Why are you still here?" She sat at an empty chair in front of me. "Is someone tried to beat you up again?"

I forced a grin and shook my head. I glanced around the room and it was only me and Niyoung here.

"Why would they beat me up? They barely see me hanging around with Jimin anymore, so what for?" I tried to casually spoke as I forced a hollow laughter.

She flicked her tounge and shook her head. "Something is wrong between you two. Seriously, what happened?"

I told her that it was nothing but she was really eager with retracing back what happened and find out what went wrong.

I gave in and told her everything. From where it all started, which was the night where we had dinner at Yoongi's place. I never left out a scenario and even tried so hard to remember his words and repeated it to Niyoung.

Although, I won't admit it out loud. I also want to get to the bottom of this. See where I went wrong and hopefully get something out of these assumptions.

"How come you don't realize that he likes you?" She commented, a playful smirk escaped her lips.

I shook my head as I cackled. "Because, it's impossible?"

He's gay and he likes someone else, I thought to myself, wishing I could say this to her so that she'll stop assuming that Jimin likes me.

She squinted her eyes and studied my face. "It never even occurred to you that he's literally in love with you. He said, 'I love you, Miya', right? And when you respond to it as if you're saying it to your brother is what hurts him! That's why he's not talking to you!" She explained with full of enthusiasm, "He confessed to you and you made him realize that you only look at him as a friend." She pursed her lips and placed her fist at the table.

I responded her words with a laughter. Causing for her to roll her eyes heavenward.

"It's impossible, Niyoung. Stop pushing it." I convinced her, as I giggled lightly. "He likes someone else." Is all I said to end the discussion.

She noticed how I wanted to stop the conversation about Jimin. So, she changed the topic instead.

The rest of the week went by the same. I never heard of Jimin, and his same busy routine went on.

People around me started asking questions. They thought me and Jimin had a fight or something. But honestly, I don't even know the answer to their question. So, I answered them with "He's just busy. They have an upcoming company event next month."—just to make them stop asking me questions that I cannot answer.

Hoseok was kind enough to go with me to school every morning and Niyoung kept me company every lunch hours. Although, at the end of the day, I was left walking to work alone.

Today was friday and I went to work after class. My time at work was busy, there were a lot of customers which helped me to take my mind off of Jimin.

Honestly, every time I think of him, knowing that I can't run to him makes me sad. I felt so alone, although I know I am not. Maybe because I was so used to his presence and attention and now that I am not getting it, I can feel the empty space beside me where he used to be.

I wore my gray parka jacket, knowing that the wind outside is freezing. I threw my backpack over my shoulder and went out of the pantry. I bid Yumi a goodbye and told her that I'll be going home.

I exited the place and the cold wind welcomed me. I shivered.

I made a turn and was about to start walking when I saw a familiar guy leaning his back at one of the lamp post right outside the store. He instantly looked up to me, his brows rose as his lips were slightly open.

"I was waiting for you." He stood up and tucked his hands inside the pockets of his black hoodie.
