"Hey, miss (Y/N)."
Luka stares at you blankly as you stare at him in embarrassment.
I must have gotten the wrong house...
You think to yourself.
"H-Hi! Sorry... I think I've got the wrong place, I'll just be go-"
"Where do you need to go?"
He smiles as he looks over your phone screen, you show it to him.
"Oh, you're in the right place, but we're actually going to be heading somewhere else."
He laughs.
"Oh?"
You ask looking confused.
"Yea, this is just my mom's studio, we'll be heading to the Seine actually."
He says stepping out and locking the door.
"C'mon, follow me."
He says motioning to you, you follow beside him.
~~~~~
You walk along the boardwalk again watching the sky turn from red to black. Though it was a peaceful walk you couldn't help but feel so awkward. Like, what are you supposed to talk about? You didn't think you were going to be seeing him again, let alone live with him.
"The sky is beautiful tonight isn't it."
Luka says, breaking the silence.
"Y-Yeah, it's very um, brisky!"
You mentally facepalm, you were trying to say bright and whispy. He laughs.
"You don't have to be so nervous you know, we're going to be roommates after all."
He says bumping you with his elbow.
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"Okay then! What brings you here to the city of love miss (Y/N)."
He asks. You get a dropping feeling in your stomach.
"Um, that's not something I'm comfortable talking about just yet."
"Ah, sorry."
He says looking away nervously.
"Then, are there any hobbies you like? Movies you're into?"
You look up at the sky, thinking for a moment.
"There is actually, it might seem stupid and not a lot of people know what it is. But I like playing the kalimba."
"The kalimba?"
"Yeah."
You giggle.
"I've never met anyone who plays the kalimba. Do you mind if I can hear you play when we get to the house?"
"I can play you a song right now actually."
You say pulling out your kalimba. He looks at you in awe as you start to play One Summer's Day.
~~~~~
"Wow! That was amazing! I felt like I was floating through the woods as a fairy!"
He muses, he looked like a child getting his favorite toy on Christmas.
Least to say it was very adorable.
"Thank you."
You giggle, putting it back in your bag.
"How long have you been playing?"
He asks, looking up at the sky.
"I've been playing since I was a kid actually... It was something my mom used to do before she'd go on her business trips."
"That's cool, I'm assuming she introduced you to it?"
"Yea! I actually just finished learning that song too, I'll probably call her ton-"
You stop mid-sentence. You thought you were over this phase, but you slipped up again. Luka could tell that the subject upset you so he changes topics quickly.
"Hey, we're almost there! We can play a song together when we're done eating dinner or you can show me how to play."
He giggles, putting you at ease.
"Sure."
You smile, walking beside him.
