CH01 - 'Highschool Crush'

"just do it!"

"no! i'll just embarrass myself!"

"oh, come on! you're not gonna lose anything if you tried!"

"i said no!"

youngjae and hyunjoon had been convincing sunwoo to confess to his crush ever since the start of the school year. sunwoo, on the other hand, didn't want to. 'it's just a stupid crush anyway' according to him.

"sunwoo! we're halfway to the school year already! and he's graduating this year! when are you gonna do it?" a pissed youngjae asked.

oh, and did i tell you that the one he's been crushing on is a senior that's about to graduate? so the two boys has a point.

"but i don't even know if he's gay! what if i just humiliate myself? him and his jock friends might make fun of me!" sunwoo, that is being pulled away from his locker, fired back.

on the other side of the coin, they don't know if he is gay. and yes, he's one of the jocks. basketball is his forte. so, if he got to the wrong side of things, his life is potentially ruined. so a point for sunwoo.

"ugh! you better do it sunwoo! you've been lovestruck ever since the beginning of time!" hyunjoon, who is usually calm and reserved, had joined the match.

"it didn't take that long..." sunwoo lowered his head as his voice faltered.

"yes it is! it's been like what? 2-3 years?" sunwoo just sighed.

so, what had them go this far into the discussion? let's go back in time for a second.

flashback:

sunwoo entered his new school. he is currently an eighth grader. is he nervous? yes. i mean, who wouldn't be? is he excited? also yes. even if he's new here and a lot of unexpected stuff might happen, he's lucky that his two bestfriends are here who transferred a year prior.

he's currently walking down the main hallway admiring his surroundings and also finding his locker. passing through students, he found his wall of lockers. the row of 100 - 150. he looked at his locker key to confirm it. '127' yep, this is it. he made bee line to the said point and hastened his pace since he wants to put his heavy-ass books in it.

then suddenly a tall guy wearing a basketball uniform came out of nowhere and bumped into him knocking his books. the sheer terror in his eyes is something you'll never forget. his expensive. clean. and untouched new books are just sitting on the ground.

'my books...' he bent down and rushed to pick up his books but stopped when he felt the presence of a tall guy looking down on him. the guy bent down also and started helping.

he looked up and there it is. the most beautiful man humanity has to offer. his skin is pale, hair is jet black that beautifully contrasts his skin tone, he's thin but lean. the guy finished up picking up and looked to him to give it to sunwoo. oh, those chocolate eyes. those beautiful eyes really hypnotized sunwoo into falling for him.

"sorry, here's your book." the guy said with the sweetest voice possible. i swear to you, sunwoo's ear is having an orgasm. sunwoo received the books. the guy stood up and sunwoo followed suit.

"look, i'm sorry again. i would've made it up to you if i don't have somewhere to be." the guy had an apologetic look.

"t-thank you. and i-it's okay, you dont have too." he replied awkwardly. the man chuckled.

"well, then. see you around!" the guy said smiling then ran away to his destination.

that smile. that smile is to die for. he will pay money to see it again. he put his one hand on his chest and felt his heart gallop like a freaking horse.

he smiled and continued to go to his locker. sunwoo's smile just became bigger and bigger. he unlocked his locker to put his stuff in. he then looked at his books, they were a little dirty and a little messed up. but he didn't care. all he cared was he had the best time of his life. screw the books, he had fell in love.

after that whole scene, he's been lovestruck ever since. thinking of scenarios, smiling randomly and creeping everyone near him. he's able to control it though, but when he sees him again, his blush wouldn't leave his face again for a couple minutes. youngjae and hyunjoon noticed this. they have become aware of sunwoo's crush, and of course, okay with it.

for sunwoo though, it got worse overtime. it had come to his attention that his crush is a popular dude from 2 yeard above him. a basketball player. someone that girls are willing to give up their dignities. that's kim younghoon for you. so his chance just became too low.

this doesn't stop sunwoo though. he knew it from the start that he probably won't get him. but a hopeless boy can dream. the dreams are not good though. it started from a little crush to an obsession.

also his fantasy for him started from dreaming of younghoon holding his hand to them rawdogging in a bathroom stall.

it became unhealthy.

sunwoo became distracted because of this. and he almost failed 9th grade because of this. his bestfriends didn't like what's happening and started to force him to confess to get this done with. of course, they don't want their friend to get hurt but his future is on the line. they kept bugging him until he promised to confess to which he never fulfilled.

sunwoo swore to them that he will confess in younghoon's senior year, since it's the last time that they're gonna be schoolmates. but again, he never did.

end of flashback.

and that brings us to where we are now. sunwoo got cornered by youngjae and hyunjoon by his locker and starts pulling him closer to the man of his dreams.

"do it, you fucker!" youngjae demanded as he was pulling sunwoo's arms. hyunjoon is pushing sunwoo's back so he can't escape.

"no!" sunwoo yelled.

then there he was. kim younghoon. the subject of sunwoo's dreams. was near them. sunwoo is getting nervous. his heartbeat is getting faster. he can't take it anymore. on the other side of the almost empty hallway, younghoon is talking with two of his friends. they were just as tall as him which made sunwoo terrified as they can be his potential bullies.

younghoon turned to them and made eye contact with sunwoo. youngjae and hyunjoon grinned as they are dangerously close to the target.

but then one of them spoke up and the the three of them headed to the exit and get out of the school.

sunwoo sighed out relief and chuckled as he beat the two once again. his heartbeat turned to normal and his blush was gone.

the other two looked at each other and smiled devilishly. then youngjae got ready for the forbidden jutsu. sunwoo looked at him as he took and a deep breathe and...

"YOUNGHOON!!!"
