I had the whole afternoon planned. It was gonna be great.
First. we walked aroung the park for a while, chatting.
At one point I said, "Nico, umm remember when I went to your house for the first time and you, umm, yelled at me?"
He nodded, "Why are you ruining the moment?"
I shrugged, "I had a question about that."
"Ok. What?"
I took a deep breath, "Umm, what happened to your sister?"
He pulled away, "That's not important."
"Yes it is," I said. "Nico, the most important thing in a relationship is trust and love. I want to know that you trust me. Please tell me what happened."
"You would break up with me." Nico said.
I was shocked, "Nico, I would never break up with you for something that happened in the past. You have changed."
"No I haven't!" He yelled
He took a deep breath, "Will, you won't understand what happened. You would hate me for what happened. It's not important, and I don't want to lose you because of it."
I grabbed his hands, "Nico, I don't care what happened in the past. I just want to know that you trust me."
"I do, Will," He said, basically crying now. "Will, I trust you more then I trust most people. I just don't want you to hate me!"
"I would never ever hate you, whether she ran off because of you, or whether you got her killed, or-"
"Will, " He cut me off. "I didn't get her killed. I killed her."
