It was Friday evening. I was waiting for my dad to pick me up. He was running late. I could hear the clock tic toc tic toc. My mum was moaning saying "where is your dad? Is he even coming?"
"Why do you always think he isn't coming. Its like you think he's just gonna abandon us!"
"well you can never be too sure."
"How can you say that you loved him once didn't you!"I said angrily and I stormed outside to be with my dog buster. I got him when I was 3 and I'm thirteen, its 1 weeks till my birthday.
My phone went off when I was about stroke my dog. I looked at it cautiously,maybe my mum was right. I was relieved when I looked and it was my friend Ellie. Ellie is my name also she is my cousin which is strange because I have another cousin called Ellie in Australia, my name is just too likeable that's what I think but my mum says its just extremely popular. I answered the phone. knowing Ellie didn't have wise brain so she was most likely going to ask for some advise.

I hung up and within seconds I was at the door. I gave my mum a kiss and and ran to the car where Hannah my dad's girlfriend was sat with the biggest welcoming smile I had ever seen my sister Lila was sat in her seat kicking her legs. my brother Reggie was running to the car shouting Lila bear Lila bear! By now she was kicking screaming the hole works. we got in the car and dad shortly followed .
We was shortly half way in the village Lakenheath where i lived now with my mum and where my dad grew up. I saw we missed the turning so I said " Dad we missed the turning! where are we going?"
"We are going to Leanne's so she can give you her present from her."
"Okay"
We had about a five minute drive until we were at Leanne's. we got out the car and like that a gust of cold air shot at my face like a wind gun. We where shortly stepping into the warm welcoming atmosphere of my auntie's household.
I was greeted lovingly by my three year old cousin Rhys. He hugged me and said merry Christmas Ellie I said it back and gave him a hug. My granddad was on the couch looking like the happiest man in the world. my uncle, Johnny was on the iPad as usual not realising the arrival of all of us.
I had a little snack as I was still full from the Christmas dinner at my mums but I thought it would be rude not to have anything. I was glad I had the snack as the quiche was lovely. we opened our presents a while after dinner I had a Calender of when I was bridesmaid for my Auntie and I also got some deodorant. We stayed till eleven o'clock then went back to our house. On the journey my Dad said "what do you think your main present is I said a kindle and my brother said an iPad .
When we got to our house we went to our rooms put Lila to bed and waited to be called so we could open our main present.
we were finally called and we were sat back to back opening our presents I opened it and it was an iPhone we were aloud to open one more present and we opened Hannah's mums I got a onzie. It was time for bed so I went and got into my onzie.
When the morning came I leapt out of bed and we all went down the stairs. We couldn't open our presents till we tidied the kitchen and set the table ready for when everyone came for dinner.
The kitchen was ready and we were ready we opened our presents and had lots we were happy with what we had. Everyone soon was here and the dinner was almost ready.
It was a short while before everyone had finished there dinner so we all sat down in the living room and presents were handed out. We had just enough room to sit down we had Leanne Johnny Rhys granddad uncle john Melissa Isabelle Hannah dad Reggie Lila and me all in our living from opening presents.
It was time for a snack and everyone sat down to eat, afterwards we had desserts and there was a variety of different cakes.
we played and shortly everyone left. There was two cards with mine and Reggie's name on we opened them to find a Hannams wake hub vouchers. I loved it as I love wake boardingn which is a water sports.
It's four days after Christmas and I finally get to use my voucher.
