It was a lazy Saturday afternoon, two days after your run-in with the blond man at the club. You and SuAh had planned a casual late breakfast but, as usual, ended up turning the entire day into an impromptu shopping spree.

"Rosa, what do you think of this one?" you and SuAh asked in unison, each holding up your chosen outfits to her over video call. She squinted at the screen and then laughed.

"Look at what each other's holding," she instructed.

You and SuAh glanced at the garments in your hands and burst into laughter. Of course, you'd both picked out the exact same newspaper-print, low-cut, strappy mini dress.

"You take it, Su. You know I'll just end up borrowing it anyway," you said, hanging your piece back on the rack.

"Baby girls, I've really got to go. We'll talk later." Rosa announced. Turning to the screen, you both waved at the screen.

"Love you!" You chimed in unison. SuAh blew a kiss.

"Love you, girls," Rosa replied before the screen went dark.

Rosa was part mother, part older sister, and part best friend. She'd taken you and SuAh under her wing eight years ago when you were just two lost, chaotic college girls trying to survive in a new city. She fed you, sheltered you during your lowest moments, and never once asked for anything in return. Not that it stopped you from spoiling her whenever you could.

Rosalia was magnetic. She knew how to have a good time and was even wilder than the two of you combined. You once watched her chase one of SuAh's exes through a park on a bike, screaming insults like "bum good-for-nothing dickass" after he called SuAh a "loud psycho bitch." She kept up the pursuit all through the neighbourhood until the cops picked her up for public disturbance.

Simply put, Rosa was a legend.

The two of you proceeded with your shopping festivities.

"I passed by your store two days ago," you casually mentioned, your mind drifting to the blond mystery man again.

Since the run-in, you'd been wondering if he'd made it out of the locker room unnoticed. He must have, since your house mom hadn't mentioned anything. Still, you'd found yourself digging around for the card he gave you, almost calling.

"Which store?"

"Not the one by my place. The one on Eoulmadang-ro."

SuAh nodded, still flipping through a rack of jackets.

"What do you think of this?" you asked, holding up a ruffled bandeau top.

Her face scrunched in horror. "Ew. Ruffles? Put it down, Y/n. Immediately." She waved her arms in a hard refusal at your choice.

You laughed and returned it to the rack. "I thought it was cute!"

"It's giving 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.' You need something sexier. Something that says, 'I could take your man if I wanted to.'" She shot you a look—a classic SuAh face of exaggerated judgment, complete with one raised brow and pursed lips.
